There was something about him. Something about the way he watched me...

He just stood there. Like he didn't actually see me.

"Ummmm... Can I help you with something?" I asked.

"What?"

"I asked if you needed help with something." I restated.

"Oh no, sorry you just look like someone I knew." He said with a saddened voice. "You're name wouldn't happen to be Annalise would it?"

"No, I'm afraid not."

"I figured as much..." There was an awkward pause before he continued "I'm sorry to bother you ma'am"

Before he could walk off, I had the strangest feeling of familiarity and curiosity.

"Why?"

"Excuse me?" He asked.

"Why did you want to know if I was this Annalise if you figured I wasn't going to be her?"

"I guess, I was just hoping for an impossibility to be possible."

"You're avoiding the question."

"And you are just a random girl in a coffee shop."

"True, but you came to me first." I replied. Then he just started to laugh. For some reason I could picture him a whole lot younger and a whole lot happier.

"I guess you're right... If I may, can I get your name?" He asked.

"It's Jane, Jane Do. And yours?"

"William but most people call me Will."

"Well, Will, Will you..." I started before checking my watch, "Oh crap I'm late, it was very nice to meet you Will but it seems I have to go, maybe we'll run into eachother again sometime."

With that said I ran out of the coffee shop towards the office building across the street. Unaware of the man watching me leave.
