Chapter 1

It's a sunny day in Royal Woods. At the Loud House, the only boy is in the bathroom and washes his hands, he hums a tune until he hears something through the ventilation duct, a voice that says, "Mother, I have a concern that I need to discuss." Lincoln hears the voice and says softly "Is that Lisa?" He goes closer to the ventilation shaft and hears the conversation, his mother says "What is Lisa?"

Lisa says, "I did some blood tests and I did not notice that Lincoln's blood pattern is different from the other family members." Lincoln's eyes widen and he says "What?" Lisa continues, "That's why I came up with three options, first he's adopted, second, we got the wrong baby, and third, Lincoln is an alien trying to mingle with us." Lincoln gives a 'really' look and keeps listening, Lisa asks "So which is it?" Rita sighs and says, "Your brother is not an alien, it's the first one."

Lincoln's eyes widen and he says quietly "But they said that I was not adopted." Lisa asks, "Should not we inform my big brother unit about this?" Rita says in panic, "No, I and your dad talked about it and we still want to wait before we tell it, but do not tell your sisters." Lisa says "Ok Mother." Rita sighs and says, "Lisa, no matter what, Lincoln is still a part of this family and he will always be, he will always be your big brother." Lincoln has recovered from the shock and smiles slightly, saying, "That's right, I'm still part of this family and they'll always love me."

It is night and Lincoln is sitting outside in the garden, leaning against the tree, looking at the readers and saying "Do you remember when I said that my family will always love me? Well that was a month ago and I'm since two weeks out here, I'm not allowed in the house anymore because my family thinks I'm bad luck."

Lincoln sighs and says, "I'll give you the shortcut, Lynn lost a baseball game and accused me of bad luck and everyone believes her." Lincoln strikes against the tree and then he feels like something wet touches his neck, it starts to rain, he says "Ah fuck my life, I should seek a shelter."

Lincoln is seen walking down an alley, trying to protect himself from the rain. He shivers a bit until he hears a demonic voice that says "I SMELL THE BLOOD OF SPARDA!" Just as Lincoln sees in the direction of the voice, he becomes tackled to the ground, he opens his eyes and sees a monster, with a dagger in his hand. The monster rise the dagger and ram him, Lincoln in the shoulder.

Lincoln screams and squirms, but faints because of the pain. The demon laughs and raises the dagger again to give Lincoln the last punch, but his arm is shot down, the demon realizes that something is wrong and sees that his arm is gone, he screams and says, "Who is there ?!" A woman with short black hair comes into the alley and looks at the demon.

It's Lady.

She loads her gun and says "Bye bye." and shoot the demon. She runs to the unconscious Lincoln and looks at her shoulder, she sighs and says, "Great." She pulls out a cell phone and enters a number, it rings briefly until a voice says "Hello, lady?" Lady answers "Trish, I have an injured boy, I bring him to the store." Before Trish can answer something, Lady hangs up and takes Lincoln in her arms, she seems to notice his white hair only now, she says "White hair, how odd."

In a shop called "Devil May Cry" Lady and Trish stand waiting for someone. Lincoln is lying on a sofa, his shoulder bandaged and he is still unconscious.

The door of the store opens and a slightly older man with white hair comes into the shop, it's the only true demon hunter, Dante.

He goes to the store and sees Lady and Trish, he says "Hey you two." He does not seem to notice Lincoln, Trish looks at Dante and says, "Dante, Lady here has saved a boy from a demon and brought him here." Dante shrugs and says "Ok but why bring the spur here?" He makes his way to the nearest pizza box, while Lady says "That's the interesting thing, the demon said that he smells blood of Sparda at him." Dante stops in front of the pizza box and turns to Lady, he says, "Show him me."

Trish points her thumb to the side and says, "He's lying there right now." Dante comes closer and sees Lincoln, he kneels down in front of him and takes his hand in his, he says "It's you, it's really you ...... wait what are you doing out there so late?" Lady looks at Trish asking, but she shrugs and shakes her head, Lady asks "Dante, who is that?" Before Dante can say anything, the three of them hear Lincoln wake up, saying, "I'm still alive?" He opens his eyes and sees the three people in the room, he asks, "Who are you and where am I?" Dante says, "You're in my shop, Kid, what are you doing out there so late?"

Lincoln frowns and tells the three what has happened in the last two weeks. Dante gets up and breathes hard, he goes to his desk, raises his hands and destroys the table as he hits his hands, his voice full of anger, he says "HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO YOU AFTER EVERYTHING I WENT THROUGH TO MAKE SURE YOU WERE SAFE AND HAVE A LOVING FAMILY AFTER EVERYTHING SHE WENT THROUGH?!?!?!??!?!"

Lincoln, Lady and Trish look at Dante scared and Trish asks first "What do you mean Dante?" He turns and looks at Lincoln, he sighs and says, "You are my son." That shocks the three.
