ALEX'S POV

I was struggling to keep up with everything that was going on. I was pacing back and forth hoping and wishing the safety of the three lives.

"Alex!" I heard Mom's voice. She rushed to me and hugged me tightly. I wrapped my arms around her and cried.

"Mom, I'm so worried." I said to her and she nodded. She kept caressing my back, trying to soothe me.

"Alex, how did all this happen?" Martin asked me and I told them how it was.

FLASHBACK

"Ace, what's wrong?!" I rushed out as I heard loud noise. Lyra rushed with me. Also, Alan came out looking puzzled and a loud yell was heard.

We all rushed to see Grace tumbling down the stairs. My eyes widened and I rushed to her. I pulled Lee away from her and gave him to Alan, who took him immediately.

"Ace! Ace wake up!" I tried to wake her but she wouldn't.

"Alex, our babies." She faintly muttered and fell unconscious. I immediately picked her up in my arms and got Matt to inform Dylan.

"Alan, stay with them. I'll get her to the hospital." He nodded and I left to take her tot he hospital.

END OF FLASHBACK

"What could've happened such that she tumbled?" Dad asked and I shook my head, telling them that I didn't know a thing about it.

"Well, Moses will be here in a while." I informed them and they nodded. We waited for a long while when the doctor finally came out.

"Doctor, how's...how's my fiancé and my kids?" I asked worried what the might answer be. I had seen the blood that made me wonder what it could be.

"It is still critical. We need more time." He said looking very hopeless. It made my blood boil just thinking that my angel was fighting.

"That's what I don't have!" I yelled angrily as I almost barged into him. Moses pulled me back and a deep sigh left my mouth. I took deep breathes trying to not lose my calm.

"My babies...they won't survive." I muttered in barely audible voice. I took two unknown steps back, as I felt myself break from within. I fell on the chair behind.

My face in my hands as I groaned in frustration. Moving my hands up into my hair, I almost pulled them out.

"Xander!" I heard Moses' voice. I immediately looked up.

"Moses!" I whispered. He kneeled down in front of me.

"Xander, what's happening?" He asked me and I shook my head.

"Still critical, Moses. I don't know anything." I said and his eyes widened.

"Don't worry, all of them will make it." He assured with the hope that I had lost.

"What's the stats on the situation?" I asked him looking up to him. He sighed.

"Xander, it's too difficult. Nothing is making sense. It wasn't even Brittany who did this, because we were keeping an eye on her. Who else?! I'm really confused. The other fact that Grace's security has been demanded from my seniors. The case has a high profile involved who want to save Grace, for some reason I don't know." He ranted and I took his words in consideration.

"Moses..." I called and he looked up to me.

"What?" He asked with a confused face looking at me.
