"Lily! Lily wait!" I heard him say as I ran away in tears."Leave me alone, Severus!" I screamed at him. How dare he. I thought he was my friend. But no, friends don't call friends that, that word. I told him to stay away from them. I told him they were bad news. He should have listened to me. Then maybe we would still be friends.
"Lily, please, let me explain!" Explain! He thinks he can explain what he did!
"You seriously think you can explain this? I thought you were my friend!" I shouted. His words rang in my ears. "I don't need help from filthy little Mudbloods like her!" Mudblood?! What happened to being his best friend? And to make matters worse, that prat Potter had to go and defend me! I can take perfectly good care of myself, thank you very much!
"I'm sorry! It just sort of, came out! I didn't mean to say it!" He seemed close to tears. I was pissed at him, but Merlin, if that boy wanted forgiveness, all he needed to do was bat his eyelashes, and I crumbled. I couldn't just forget about him, he was my first real friend. He was my shoulder to cry on whenever Tunney called me a "freak". He was my bridge to the Wizarding World over summer holiday. He was my best friend.
But that's just the thing, he was. Now, I'm not so sure. I always had his back and he always had mine. But what he did, what he said, what he called me, that was unforgivable.
"It doesn't matter whether or not you meant to say it. What matters, is that you did! And you can't take that back! I'm sorry Severus, but you made your choice. Now please, leave me alone, and never speak to me again,"I said as I ran up the stairs.
"Lily!"
"What part of leave her alone don't you understand, Severus!"I heard my other best friend, and, apparently, now my only best friend, Marlene McKinnon say.
Severus stopped in his tracks as he finally noticed the crowd that had gathered to watch his public humiliation. He hung his head in shame.
"Whatever you want, Lily Flower," he said in monotone. Tears swelled in my eyes as I recognized the childhood nickname, the one my father had invented, but that Severus had adopted several years prior. I swallowed the feeling.
I wanted so very much to forgive him, but doing so, caving in so easily, would have me stripped of the respect I worked so hard to gain over the years.
"Yes, I want that, Severus," I answered him.
He lifted his head and looked me in the eyes. "As you wish, my Lily Flower."
"Evans!" I froze as I heard the one person that could make this worse come around the corner, followed by his band of goons. Severus stiffened as James Potter entered, swaggering like he owned the place.
"Go away, Potter," I spat at him.
"'Lily Flower', I like it," He continued as if I hadn't said anything.
"Don't ever call me that," I shot back, arms crossed. Little did I know that one day, I would enjoy it when James Potter called me "Lily Flower".
My name is Lily Evans, and this is the story of how I fell in love with an arrogant toerag.

So, what do think? Bad, right? Eh.
The video is a song that I think perfectly describes Snape and Lily's relationship. Let me know what you think. K? Thanks.
