Chapter 5: I may or may not have gotten distracted after Alex tried to kill me

I flew out over New York looking for John, Herc and Laf

And oh yeah- trying not to get killed by Alex who was out for blood

I found the three sitting on top of some skyscraper and they all stood up when I flew by

"Gotta go-" I said and dove down to the street level

"RIA GET BACK HERE!!!!" I heard Alex screaming as he dove after me

I silently begged the other 3 to help me out, which thankfully they did

John flew ahead to protect me while Herc and Laf held our small gremlin friend back

"What's your deal Lex?" Herc asked as he held Alex

Alex struggled against him and Laf "RIA KNOCKED ME OVER!!!"

"Oh grow up Hamilton it was just a joke" I said as I nuzzled into John

Hey, gay guys can be good cuddlers

"IT FREAKING HURT!!!" Alex complained

I'm pretty sure all of us rolled our eyes "really??" John said and Alex stopped struggling

"In hind sight..... yeah that was stupid of me" he said and looked down

Herc and Laf let him go and he playfully shot a ball of fire at me "HEY!!!" I complained

He was too busy laughing that he didn't notice I had picked him up and was throwing him across the street with my powers

"AHHHH-" he crashed into a building and the rest of us started laughing before I spread my wings "I'm off, Alex is gonna kill me, call me when he calms sown" I said and waved

"Have fun Mariah" Laf waved back "See ya girl" John said "Byeee" Herc said

"See ya guys" I took off right as I heard Alex free himself from the building

I flew on for awhile and eventually left the city

I'm gonna be completely honest- I had no clue where I was-

I kept flying and eventually came to a meadow. There were wildflowers everywhere and I was weirded out by all the colors

No- weirded out isn't right..... I was kind of confused, but mainly in awe

I landed and started walking around, the moon was out so a lot of the colors were washed out, or would have been to a normal human eye, but we demons have a knack for seeing in the dark since, y'know, we live underground in hell

I kept walking but eventually heard something and stopped

It sounded like..... singing.....

But who would sing in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night??

My curiosity got the better of me and I creeped closer

I started to make out whatever song it was, and it sounded like some form of a love sing which just confused me even more

I got closer and crouched down, then saw what was the source of the singing was- or rather who

The girls back was too me so I could only see raven black hair

It looked like they were sitting in front of something though I couldn't see

Then I noticed a soft glowing and I looked closer

The girl had white feathery wings which only meant one thing......

This girl was and Angel
