Avery Johnson has lived in Hawkins all her life. She's never had any friends though. She's the loner even the losers at school make fun of her. She's the freak no one wants to mess with.
William (Will) Byers is one of those so called losers. Him and his friends do nothing bad and are Mr.Clarke's favorite in science class.
When Avery and Will are forced to work together for a school project they soon find out not everything is as it seems.
In the once quite town of Hawkins, Indiana everything's at peace until Will Byers ends up missing.
