As I sit here on the grass, listening to football team jeer, mock and harass me all because I saw it fit to let a boy know of his impending fatherhood makes me wonder if there is hope for humanity.
I find it so ironic that he would decide to take this course of action. As this thought passes through my head, I feel my hair being pulled and the roots straining.
The pain is intense and I can feel a headache start to come on and the overpowering metallic taste of blood in my mouth. At this point I am done.
Joshua Wright, the father of my child or colloquially known, my baby daddy watches as this happens and actually leads this assault.
I like to think I am realistic, I knew there was a huge chance he wouldn't want to take responsibility for this child but I expected him to quietly even secretly tell me to buzz off, hell, even leave him alone but this was inhumane.
All I hear is,"You are such a liar, Josh would never sleep with your type," Josh's best friend Trevor says.
Another teammate Raymond says "this is why I hate dating the sistas, cummon ma, why you gotta do the culture like this? F*ing do it," now mind you Raymond is black too and my cousin.
Josh kicks me in my stomach and I lay in a fetal position out of pain and blood trickles down my Jeans.
