(10) The Baby Is Coming..

On May 12th Sydney called Caitlin cause she wasn't sure if Winnie was working or not. "Caitlin.. I think I'm in labor." she said

"Okay hold on. " she said as she ran downstairs "Mom help me Sydney's on the phone she thinks she's in labor." 

Alice put her phone on speakerphone "Okay honey how far apart are the contractions."

"Mmm maybe like 5 minutes. I"m here all by myself Alice my dad is out of town I'm scared to drive I don't know where Bucky is or if Winnie or James is home." she said 

"Okay relax honey me and Caitlin will come get you and I'll get ahold of Winnie." Alice said 

"okay." she said as she hung up.

"Go next door and see if Brady is home to let you in and see if Bucky is awake." Alice siad

"Yes ma'am" she said 

Caitlin ran next door and knocked on the door and rang the bell. Brady opened up "Damn Caitlin what's the deal." 

"Is James home.. Syd's in labor we have to go get her." Brady said 

"I think he's in his room I don't know." Brady said

She ran upstairs and into Bucky's room. "OH my god my eyes." she said as she covered her face. 

"What the fuck Caitlin!" he yelled 

"Sorry dude I didn't know you slept naked." Brady said 

"Sydney called me she's in labor we have to go get her hurry up get dressed her contractions are 5 minutes apart." she said as she kept her hands over her eyes. He pulled his clothes on and he walked over to her and pulled her hand down "I"m dressed now you can stop being dramatic I dont get it you did when we were 11 and felt my dick against you." 

She walked away and he followed her home and got in Alice's car. They ran over to Sydney's house. Caitlin and Bucky both went and got her and helped her out to the car. Bucky put her bags and car seat in Alice's trunk. Caitlin sat up front and let Bucky sit in the back with her. 

Sydney was trying her best to not scream in pain as she squeezed Bucky's hand. They got to the hospital and got her checked in. Caitlin was about to leave the room "No I need you both in here please Caitlin I know you two don't get along but I need you too Caitlin." as she grabbed her hand.

Caitlin looked over at Bucky "It's fine Caitlin" 

"Okay.. but if I pass out it's on you both." she said 

Six hours later the doctor came in and said "It's time to push." 

The nurse showed Bucky and Caitlin what to do and Sydney started to push. After four pushes little Sawyer came crying the doctor showed Bucky where to cut the cord. They laid her on Sydney's chest. 

"I'm gonna let you all enjoy her and I'll be outside okay." she said as she got to the door. 

"Caitlin" Bucky said in a whisper

She turned around and he hugged her "Thank you for being in here with us." 

"You are welcome now go enjoy your daughter she's beautiful" she said with a smile

She went into the waiting room where James was pacing "She's here and she's beautiful I left to give them some alone time with her." she said 

"Aww" Winnie said as she hugged Caitlin. "You were a great friend to Sydney through all this." 

"Thank you." she said 

An hour later everyone was in the room taking turns holding her. "Where's Caitlin?' Bucky said 

"Oh she needed some air it's been a long day for her too." Alice said 

Bucky found her sitting on the side walk and he sat beside her "Are you okay?" he said 

She smiled at him "I hope that you are gonna do the right thing now" 

"Cat please don't start." he said 

She shook her head "This is one of those times that I'll keep my opinions to myself." 

She pulled out her phone "What are you doing?' he said 

"Im getting a uber and I'm going home I"m tired and I just want to go home." she said 

"Caitlin are you mad at me cause I don't want to be with Sydney?' he said 

"No I'm mad because it was me she called instead of you cause she had no idea where you would be. It was me she called at 3 in the morning two weeks ago and I had to get my mom to take me over there and rush her to the ER cause she thought she was in labor. I had hoped that seeing her come into the world make you man up and be the dad you need to be. I"m not saying you need to go be with her but you need to be involved instead of partying around but what do I know I right I'm just a cherry pie." she said as she got in her uber and went home. 

Bucky swallowed hard and looked down. He went back upstairs to let Alice and Lucas know she got a uber home. After everyone left and Sydney was sleeping he picked up Sawyer and looked down at her. 

"Daddy's blue eyes and mama's red hair" he whispered then she wrapped her tiny hand around his finger. He smiled at her when a tear drop fell down his cheek and he wiped it and he sniffled. He held her a little longer  then she slowly fell asleep and he put her back into her crib.
