Ms Bustier grabs her textbook from her desk and looks towards the class
Ms Bustier: Open your books to page 342 and work with a partner on your assignment
Adrien looks at Marinette who sits next to him
Adrien: Wanna be partners?
Marinette is silent.
Adrien: What's wrong Marinette?
Marinette: This is the first time I've ever worked on an assignment without Alya
Marinette turns around
Marinette: Lila was right, she promised to take away my best friend and did
Adrien: Hey, look at me
Marinette turns around and faces Adrien
Adrien: *smiles* You still have me silly
Marinette blushes
Adrien: Besides, once we prove Lila's been lying to everyone you'll get your best friend back
Marinette: *smiles* You're right
Adrien: *smirks* I usually am
Ms Bustier: Am I going to have to separate you two?
Marinette & Adrien: No Ms Bustier
Ms Bustier: Very well
Marinette: I guess we better start this assignment

After class
Marinette and Adrien exit the school while holding hands. Lila and Alya walk up to them
Lila: Well well, if it isn't the golden couple of the school
Marinette: Is there something we can help you with Lila?
Lila: Oh no, just wanted to say you guys are such a cute couple. *smiles* Enjoy it while it lasts
Lila walks away. Alya stares at Marinette for a few seconds before walking away
Marinette: What do you think she meant by that?
Adrien: I don't know and don't care. She's just trying to get into your head, don't let her.
Marinette: *smiles* I won't
Adrien: Do you want me to walk home with you?
Marinette: I'm fine, I'll see you tomorrow
Adrien kisses her on the cheek
Adrien: See you tomorrow

In Lila's room
Lila: *angry* I want to take everything from Dupain Cheng
Hawkmoth: Ah, I recognize this angered temper. Fly away my little akuma, and evilize her
The akuma flies into Lila's bracelet
Hawkmoth: Volpina? I wasn't expecting this angered emotion from you
Lila: Return my powers to me so I can destroy that Marinette
Hawkmoth: Very well, but in return you must-
Lila: Give you the miraculous, I know
Hawkmoth: Don't fail me Volpia
*Lila transforms into Volpina*

In Adrien's room
Adrien: Plagg, do you know where I placed my homework assignment?
Plagg: *eats Camembert* Don't ask me
Plagg heard a noise and then hides under a pillow
Adrien: Plagg?
Adrien turns around and sees Marinette (illusion) standing across from him
Adrien: Marinette?! Where did you come from
Marinette: Never mind that, I came here to tell you something
Adrien: *smiles* It couldn't wait until tomorrow?
Marinette: Will you let me speak for once!
Adrien: Marinette?
Marinette: I'm sick and tired of listening to you complain all the time
Adrien: *puts his head down* Marinette-
Marinette: The last few months you've blabbed about your mother and Lila non stop, yet never cared about how I felt when my best friend betrayed me
Marinette: Instead you just told me to get over it
Adrien: I never said-
Marinette: I can't be with you anymore Adrien
Adrien: Marinette wait-
Marinette exits through Adrien's bedroom door

Outside of Adrien's bedroom
The illusion of Marinette transforms back into Volpina. Volpina laughs then vanishes.
