Scratching the paper
Writing my thoughts away
Thank you for telling me
Me poems are worth the wait
You see I love the details
In small insignificant things.
I see you share the same interest
Otherwise why else would you talk to me
You know what you and I have is brittle
But your friendship even for a while
Has made changes in me
Little by little.
These little things build up
To make the new you
These little things are reasons
I am me and you are you
In the long run
In the 'End Game'
It's these small insignificant things
In this world of insanity which keep us sane.
