Cassie Baylor had just recently moved back home to Ohio after living with her cousin Bethany Fields for a little over a year. She missed home so very much. Sure she could talk on the phone or text her family and friends, but it wasn't the same as actually being there. Hugging them and hanging out with them. Now that she was back home, she was off on a new adventure career wise. This career was going to push her mind and tenacity to the breaking point and she was super excited to get started. Nervous? Absolutely, but still very excited.

About 4 months before they moved back to Ohio, Bethany had talked Cassie into watching some One Direction videos. Cassie was far from interested. She liked a couple of their songs but thought they were far too young for her to be into them. Bethany kept playing music for her cousin in hopes that one day she'd come around. And that day finally came. They were on their way to work (they worked for the same company, in the same department) and the song Act My Age came on. Cassie asked for her to play it again. And then again. And that's what did it. The hardened belief that she couldn't possibly like these guys was completely chipped away. Shattered, really.

Since then, it's been a nightly tradition to eat dinner and watch YouTube videos of One Direction. Whether it was them performing or just being silly. Cassie developed a serious affection for Carpool Karaoke and Tattoo Roulette. It didn't take long for One Direction to take over her life. She bought all the DVDs she could find and a book. She started changing her phone's background and lock screen to photos of them, mainly Louis. She and Louis had such similar personalities. Total jokesters and very loyal. So it was no surprise that she tweeted to him and often. Whether it was a reply to something he had posted or just a general tweet, she tried to send him something a few times a week at least. Mostly well wishes or questions here and there.

Today was like any other day. She was excited because Two Of Us, Louis new single, was released yesterday and she couldn't wait to see how well it did or his reaction to it. She popped onto Twitter and started scrolling through her feed when she saw a tweet from the man himself.

@Louis: Hope everyone has a wonderful day today

(His tweet was from an hour prior to her checking)

@Cassie: @Louis Thanks! You too. Not that you'll ever see this.

(10 minutes pass)

@Louis: @Cassie: Of course I see you love.

@Cassie: @Louis Holy shit! I mean, thanks?

@Louis: @Cassie haha best reaction I've gotten in a while

@Cassie: @Louis I highly doubt that. You've got some...interesting fans.

@Louis: @Cassie does that include you?

@Cassie: @Louis Not the way I was meaning it, but yes I am a fan. A new fan, but still a fan.

@Louis: @Cassie I don't think you could've said the word FAN one more time.

@Cassie: @Louis F A N *Fan emoji*

(@Louis is now following @Cassie)

@Cassie: Did.. did that just really happen?

@Louis: @Cassie I have no idea what you mean ;)

Cassie goes silent for about an hour and Louis begins to wonder if he freaked her out. He wasn't trying to flirt, it was just how he was. Friendly, really. He also wasn't trying to give her grief over her replies. By nature he was just one sassy smol bean. What he didn't know is that she was studying for work. It was like a whole different language. She was more than a little stressed. Talking with Louis just then really helped her mood lighten up.
