SCRIPT:

I'm thrilled you could all make it tonight, gentlemen. I know I ask a lot of you, but I hope you all realize, I notice everything. Every tiny effort, every command obeyed, every sacrifice given.

You're my men, aren't you? And tonight, you're going to prove it. Now, I want you all to pick up your weapons and line up in single fi—You! Stand up straight! Straighter!

Do you want to be made fun of for having a wrinkled uniform? Don't answer! Just listen.

*pauses* Now, as I was saying, line up in single file, and reflect on your job tonight. Remember, you're more than just simple soldiers. You're warriors! You have a mission, a purpose—and while you may not realize the difference you are about to make then know that I will.

And that's really what matters most, now isn't it?

All those people who never listened to me—those awful people, with their awful taunts in my head. Look at me now. Listen to me now! I've got all of you gentlemen listening to me tonight, now haven't I?

*composes him/herself and breathes*

Now, prepare yourselves. We are about to walk out that door into a war we might not win. But it is important that we keep our heads held up high no matter the outcome.
*inhales and exhales then gasps*

Oh, no! Mr. Teddy, your stuffing is seeping out again! I need you to look perfect for this battle or else my reputation will be ruined. I'll grab a needle. *almost leaves but looks back and narrows eyes at stuffies*

But the rest of you... begin marching! *exits stage*

END SCENE

Hi everyone!

As I said in the beginning, credits to the author of this script. My friend had taken it from online and tweaked it to her liking as well as adding direction notes,  but failed to give me the actual author. If you know who that is, do not hesitate to comment so I can give the proper credit to them! Thank you.

Hope you enjoyed!
