It was a fine day. A perfect weather as what the others had said. A bright sun, mild wind, and a sky so blue and calm. There was nothing he could ask for more especially when he had a nice view from his office where everyone looked so busy and small. He was a top executive and being such had its perks like having his own time where he could do everything he wanted.
No one would dare question him about how he currently and mindlessly stared at the scenery in front of him as if the clouds that were moving slowly were more interesting than the projects and proposals worth millions lying on his desk.
Tin was used in having a quiet surrounding that a little sound would be noticed immediately by his sharp ears. However, no matter how peaceful the place was his mind never was. Memories, thoughts, insights, and a lot more kept on running in it words would never be enough to describe them. The dark lines under his eyes were enough evidence of how they kept him from sleeping despite of how physically he got tired.
No one would ever guess that he was having these kind of troubles anyway especially when his appearance to the people and to his people were nothing but a great pretense. He got the looks from head to toe as if he came out of a photograph from a royal family, his bank account having more than of what he needed to live in luxury for the next five decades, his intellectual capacity surpassing his ancestors who made their own names in the field of business.
Tin was the epitome of an ideal man a lot hopefuls wanted to get their hands on. Their golden ticket to the riches beyond imagination. But, what they didn't know was Tin was just like everybody else. They didn't know he was just like any man walking along the busy streets trying to get by. A victim of the toxic society run by people wanting to be 'part' of something else. Mostly bigger than themselves forgetting how they stepped down to the people who helped them to get where they were.
The young businessman wickedly smiled at the irony of how he lived his life. He had the money he worked hard to get but at the same time the money that bonded him to where he was now. Some place he wanted to get rid off but couldn't. His past relationships were wrecked by his profession but the very same people never had the problem to use it for their own personal agendas. In those times, Tin used all his resources and showered them with things from sparkling gems and stones to customized cars to the top accommodations whenever they go out. And Tin all ever wanted in return was sincerity and honesty but even that he was deprived. He continued doing it because he thought they would return the affection he was giving them but unfortunately, they didn't.
For some people who knew him, he may looked like fool but he was just a fool wanting to be loved for who he was and not what he had.
Some of his ex-es thought he was just paying them to stay with him so they took him for granted until Tin himself felt it was no longer the same. Tin was smart enough to end all of it until the last one came and ruined him completely.
Tin thought he knew 'love' when he had this relationship with a lady who showed how she understood him. She stood by his side taking care of him whenever he had a 'day' in the office, trust her with a lot of things he never disclosed to his previous lovers, took her to lunches and dinners introducing her to a lot of important people in his life. Tin thought she was the one for him when one day it was no longer love uniting hem. Tin ended up wanting to please her in anyway, be it money, time, or effort he sacrificed everything in his disposal. Whenever she needed him despite of how hectic his schedule was, he would go to her even though most of the time it was across the globe. Tin wanted to be with her so bad he missed how manipulative she had become. The sheep cloth she was wearing slowly slipped down until she was already in her true form. A hungry hyena in a woman's appearance. She used his attachment issues to her advantage Tin slowly decayed inside.
