———

There was a boy, chest bursting with all the love he had to give.

Whose eyes shined with adoration, whose gentle touch was of an angel's. Everyone adored him.

Then he met a girl, brown hair and soft eyes, cheeks pink like a rose. She stayed by his side. One day, her smile didn't glow as much.

"Please, have this." He smiled, and she gasped. A piece of his heart. "Thank you," and her smile lit up the world.

(There was a piece missing from his heart, but it was okay.)

There was a friend, uniform set straight, ironed until the very last strand of cotton. He was loud, but guided him the right way. But now he has lost himself.

"Please have this," the boy whispered, and gave a piece.

His friend straightened up as he held the piece in his palm, pushing up his glasses. "Thank you," he bowed. "For I have found my way."

(His heart ached.)

There was a friend, who's submerged in anger, frown deep and eyes dark. He was sad. "Please have this," the boy murmured, soft, as he broke off a piece from his own heart. He looked at him, hand on his burn scar.

His friend's eyes lit up, and a smile decorated his face. "Thank you," he hugged him. "For you have shown me happiness once again."

There was a boy, who watched 'his' form. His explosions and his red eyes, searing into his skin. A friend? No. A rival? Perhaps.

He adored him, loved him and held him close. He came close to the boy one day, and he thought of a gifts.

"Here-" But the boy's chest was empty. He had given away too much, and he wept. "I'm so sorry," he cried. "For I have lost all the love."

Bakugou turned away and left.

———

The boy whose love overflowed was going to break. He had given up too much of him, and there was a cavity in his chest. A hole. A reminder, and he was broken.

But the girl with brown hair showed up, a piece of her heart, and Izuku gasped. "Please take it, Deku!" She grinned. "For you are my friend, and you have given your all to help me."

A boy with glasses stood beside her, a piece in his hand. "You are a good friend, Midoriya, and you had helped me find my way."

The boy with a burn scar came to him with a smile, a piece of his heart in hand. "You've helped me find happiness," he offered a piece. "And for that, I could not thank you enough."

Izuku wept joyously, his heart a whole, and it filled him with love once again.

"Deku."

The boy was never the receiving end of kindness.

"Kacchan?"

He stepped forward, and took Izuku's scarred hand in his, red eyes soft and cheeks tinted pink. "You helped me find love."

Bakugou's heart hovered in his palms, and Izuku's eyes welled up. "For that, you can share my heart."
