Welcome to my IMAGINATIVE World
*******************************************
"Promise that you'll wait for me." I said with my eyes filled with tears.
"I promise. 3 years won't be that long but thinking that I won't have you really tears me apart." He said wiping my tears.
I woke up with a tear in my eye. I don't know if it's because of my dream or because I know it happened but the promise was not kept. Everything seemed so real. The pain I felt in my dreams still lingered even after I woke up. That pain inside my chest that is like someone hit me with a full force or it's as if someone holding my heart tightly that any time it might stop beating. The voice of the boy in my dream is so sincere, and I can feel the hurt he is feeling by the way he talk. His hand wiping my tears is so smooth and so real, it makes me feel safe each time my dream reached that part.I am having this dream for the past 3 months but I have not seen the guy's face. I need to see him. I need to remember what the promise is all about. I need to know why it was not kept, when it was made and why it is even made.
The place where we shared our vows is so beautiful, so serene. We're near a cliff, while sun is setting, I can see the city lights starting to brighten the place. I wish I can go back to this place and find out the answers to all my questions.
I sighed and I pulled up myself in a sitting position to grab my laptop to check what the meaning of my dream is. I have been researching for 2 hours and I am not able to see any definition. I have tried every single site but still no luck.
I stood up and grabbed my towel since I have an important presentation to do. I am Aaliyah Caress Montenegro, a Graphic Artist Team Lead at one of the leading publishing companies in the country.
I put my Ipod on the dock and played my Paramore playlist. After 15 minutes of taking a bath, I towel dried my hair leaving my long brown wavy hair to flow at my back. I put on a simple make up which consists of mascara and eye liner to enhance my hazel brown eyes, blush on to show my perfect cheek bone and finished it with a red lippie. I pulled out my knee length plain black dress which highlights my fairly tan skin tone. I paired it with my red stilettos which gave complement to my lip color and of course making my legs look longer since I'm only 5'4 in height.
While walking down the stairs, I saw my roomie/BFF Mia preparing breakfast. She has almost the same height as mine so we're both petite, she has a beautiful green eyes, she has a perfect white skin and a straight blonde hair.
"Good morning Aaliyah." She greeted me with a smile.
"Morning." I smiled grabbing a cup for my coffee.
"Ready for today's presentation?" she asked excitingly
"Not really."
"What's wrong dear? Are you nervous?" she asked worriedly.
"Nah... Just being bothered by the same dream I was having for the past few months." I sighed.
"Maybe that is a part of your past or maybe that is your prince in your previous life or maybe that means you will soon meet your prince." She took a seat beside me and took a bite at her French toast.
"Maybe, maybe, maybe... I don't really want to live with maybes anymore."
"Well then just ignore it and just go with the flow. Besides there is more important thing that you need to think of right now." She said and finished her drink. She stood up and gathered the used dishes and put it in the sink.
