Chapter 67

The day after Katia and Liam's wedding, SYCO released a statement in regards to the boys' in which it said they would be back with new music but they weren't putting a timeline on it. They had too many personal things going on in their lives and that before they got back together as a group, there would be solo releases from all of them. The statement also said they were not breaking up and their fans meant everything to them.

After they returned to Malibu after the wedding, Zayn decided that they needed a short family vacation. So one weekend after the twins had finished with school for the week, they headed to Montana for a quick getaway to reset.  Once they were back home in California, Zayn and Kaia went back to work in the studio on her album.  Kaia asked Zayn when he was going to start working on his solo album and he told her that she came first.  He told her that he was writing and had a few songs written and that he would start recording soon.

Back in England.....

Harry walked into the kitchen to find his wife feeding their daughter.   Faith was getting so big, he could hardly believe it.   It was now early October and he was planning their Halloween costumes as a family. His cheeks had become so sore from smiling since they came home. He finally felt at peace with his life since they left California.  No outside interference from anyone.  Especially the Malik's.  He loved them all, but he felt that sometimes Kaia and her insecurities took over their lives.  His wife loved him and he could feel that love from her every day. He was a father to a healthy and happy baby girl. His little Faith Amelia was his heart.

"Are you going to stand there and watch us all morning?" Marian asked.

"Sorry, I was reflecting," he chuckled as he watched her wipe off Faith's chin.

"Daddy needs to get back to work. I just learned he hasn't worked for over a year. People are asking for him for more music." 

"It's only my second solo album.  Nobody is chomping at the bit for it.  Besides, the fans are being taken care of by Niall."  Harry said and walked over and picked up his daughter who began to pelt him with kisses and giggles.  "Faith, your mummy needs to take her own advice," he smirked "Her publisher called and is asking for her next book. We both saw her writing on our journey home, didn't we?" he said and kissed her nose.

Marian rolled her eyes at his comment about his music.  "Are you sure I should continue to write?" she asked worriedly.

"Of course, why wouldn't you continue to write and put out books? Especially since you love it so much." 

"Harry it isn't that simple.  And I do love it," she said with a pause.  "I know that my writing in the past has caused you pain and that it upset you.  I don't want to cause my husband any more pain. I don't want to make you sad or hurt you."

Harry walked over and pulled her into his arms, kissing her temple. "I love you so much."

"I love you too."

"Thank you for thinking of me, but I have a better grasp on things these days. You wrote your feelings at the time, feelings you couldn't express to me or anyone else."
