~Jill’s POV~
Free! We are finally free! Being in an orphanage for your whole 18 years of your life really doesn’t do well. Well, it does when you meet your best friends there. Jillian and Taylin, my best friends forever, I love them with all my heart. Even though Jillian was the oldest of our ‘group’, she wasn’t the leader; I was more of a leader than them, being the middle age and all I still stuck up for them like they were my little sisters.
I’m Jillian Hart. Jill you could say. I am 18, and I and Jillian and Taylin have been stuck in the orphanage our whole lives, Jillian being stuck there since the day she was born, one year before me and Taylin got there. I am 5’8, have long, black, straight hair. I have bright green eyes and have never seen anyone except the girls at the orphanage. It was an all-girl orphanage and we’ve never seen any boys, any bands, any actors, actresses. Just Sesame Street and Dora. That’s about it.
We had just escaped from there, now running swiftly along the back roads of London. I think we were in London.
“Tay, Jillian, over here!” I yelled to them. I spotted a big, red bus with the word ONE painted to one side. I wondered what that was. Probably an advertisement.
They both nodded and ran faster as we scanned the area for anyone. I saw no one and I made the all-clear hand signal to them and they nodded again.
I slowly crept up the set of stairs leading into the bus, with Jillian and Taylin behind me, we stepped inside. It was a very fancy bus. It had what seemed to be leather tan looking couches, chairs, and a small hallway to the left with bunk beds in them and a bathroom at the end. It looked pretty large inside, considering this was a bus. It looked like it was for actors and actresses or someone famous.
I slowly started to back down the stairs realizing what we might be getting ourselves into. I tumbled back a little bit, but catching my fall as someone from behind me scooped me up under my arms, catching me.
They pulled me back up and I turned around to thank them as bright, green orbs stared into my own green ones. The man in front of me now was absolutely charming, as I’ve never seen an actual man before, it was amazing. He had a mop of curly brown hair and nice little dimples on his cheeks, his left one stood out more though.
“Hi, and who might you be?” he asked, his voice very deep and his accent very recognizable as British.
“I’m uh, Jill. Is this yours?” I asked him, jabbing my thumb in the direction of the tour bus. “And what’s your name?” I asked again.
“Uh, well, sorta, I live in it some days, but you know, the guys live with me. And wait, you don’t really know who I am, do you?” He asked. I looked back to Jillian and Tay and they looked as lost as I did. Did I know him? Was I supposed to know this charming young lad?
“I’m sorry, I don’t. Should I?” I asked, he looked almost broken, yet, astounded.
“Well, haven’t you ever heard of One Direction?” he asked, getting closer to me, stepping beside me and over to the bus. He stopped at the word ‘ONE’ written on this side of the bus in white. He pointed his finger the little red symbol that said ‘1D’. He’s famous?
I shook my head and just then, a group of other absolutely amazingly awesome looking lads came over 4 to be exact and stopped when they saw the mysterious man who I still don’t know the name of.
“Harry! We’ve been looking for you!” One with a feathery fringe to the side of his light medium brown hair said. So Harry’s his name.
“Lou, I came to grab my phone and these girls were here and they don’t know who we are.” Harry said to the other boy, Lou as I remember.
“Why are you here?” Lou asked us. I looked at them worriedly and Harry came over to me. “Since you’re not freaking out, I presume you are not aware we are a band who have girls come running after us every day now do you?”
I shook my head.
He continued, “And by the way you are dirty and look like you’ve been through a mud pit you came from somewhere bad didn’t you?”
I nodded.
“Come on in.” he said, and led me, Jillian and Tay inside and we sat down on the leather couches we had just seen a few minutes before.
“Now, start from the beginning.” Harry said, and I drew in a deep breath. I trusted them, they seemed nice. They seemed real, not fake celebrities. They had a bus, it must be true.
Can we have them keep us safe? Do Jillian and Tay trust them? Yes of course they would, and of course they can.
I hope.
