Clementine let out a sigh of relief over finally being done with a Student Body meeting. She waved briefly to her officers before her and Violet got into her car to head to the hotel.
"I can tell you really were upset at Gabe today." Violet sparked up some conversations. "As your therapist, you have to tell me what's up."
Clementine stiffled out a laugh, "I don't remember signing up for therapy."
Violet lopsiddedly smiled, "Well your favorite person, I think her name was Violet, decided you needed sessions."
"Mhm, did she now?" Clementine cocked an eyebrow, grinning like a dork.
Violet leaned against the car door as she looked at the scenery passing them. "Indeed she did, so, what's in that presidential mind of yours?" Violet shifted her gaze to focus on Clementine.
Clementine let out a breath before beginning, "All he wants to talk about is how I'm his date. It seems like he has some ego boost from going with me or something. Like, the dance is barely even a big deal."
Violet's eyes widened over that, "A couple weeks ago you were all excited about the dance!" Violet almost couldn't believe the words coming out of the other girl's mouth.
Clementine gripped the wheel harder, and shrugged. "I just don't really care for it anymore. I don't even want to go anymore."
"N-no, you have to...! What will.. Gabe do without a lovely person as a date." Violet was pained that she had to say that.
Clementine shook her head, "When we were planning the light setup, what was the only thing he talked about? The lights? No." She grumbled, "All that was on his mind was that I'm going as his date or whatever. You even provided some ideas, and what did he do?? Sit on his ass and gush about us going together. It was fucking annoying."
Violet smiled over the things she was saying, "I can tell because you actually said something to him. Usually you just smile and politely nod. Maybe you shouldn't be hanging with me, Clem. I am a bad influence after all." She teased and that caused
Clementine to softly shove her shoulder. "Hey!""You deserve it for that comment!" Clementine giggled, feeling a little bit better after getting her built up aggrivation out. Obviously she was going to endure the dance, even if Gabe wasn't who she wanted to go with.
Recently, it was hard for her to even focus on preparing for the school dance. The usually focused girl's mind wandered to to other things and it was difficult to keep up with her thoughts.
This was a very big deal for her because she could always set her mind to multiple things, and finish them all. However, multitasking was getting more and more difficult. Day dreaming became something that Clementine did a majority of the time. She had been making up different scenerios of how things could be different if life decided to work in her favor for once.
