'A normal day at the bakery' I thought as i walked up to the hot oven to take out the fresh baked cupcakes.
"Good morning Loey !" Scott exclaimed as I turned around."
"Oh, hey Scott," I giggled. Scott smiled as he began to fix up the ingredients.
I set the cupcakes down on the counter as I made my way into the kitchen to find Oliver.
"Hey Oliver! I need help decorating the last batch of cupcakes before i open the shop!' I shouted.
No response. I decided to look around but no luck. "I guess he didn't come to work today," I sighed as i turned around to find Oliver right in front of my face.
"BOO!" he yelled as I screamed and punched him in the gut.
"It's not funny Oliver!" I exclaimed.
"What are you doing anyway?"
"Scaring the life out of you," he chuckled. I punched his arm as I made my way back to the kitchen.
"Anyway, I need your help, I sighed. "With the stupid cupcakes?" Oliver groaned. I put my hands on my hips.
" If there stupid, then why are you working here?" I questioned. "Ugh, let's just get back to work..." he mumbled.
" Heh, that's what I thought," I giggled.
After a long day at work, we closed up the shop and took a break. As, everyone left home, I decided to get dressed and hang out with my friend Kathleen. I began to walk out the shop as my phone vibrated. I took it out of my pocket and realized it was just a little reminder from a game called 'Draw Anything.' "It looks like Hali posted a new drawing," I said as I continued to walk to Starbucks. I opened the app and saw that she drew a picture of me and her. I smiled as I commented ' Awe! This is so cute bruh!' I turned off my phone and i see that I'm almost halfway there! I run around the corner feeling the cold breeze through my hair. As I stop and open the door to enter Starbucks. I saw Kathleen sitting in a booth watching one of Pewdiepie's new video's. I rolled my eyes as I walked over to her and poked her face.
"AAAHHH!" she screamed. I began to laugh as she stuck her tongue out at me.
"Duuuuude! Why did you scare me?!" she whined.
I shrugged "It was an opportunity!"
"Now everybody's looking at us!" she whispered.
I turned around to see that everyone was giving us some weird looks. I blushed with embarrassment as I turned back around and sat across Kathleen.
" So, what's up?" she asked.
"Im good, how ab-" I was interrupted by the loud noise of my phone vibrating on the table.
I picked up my phone and looked at all the comments Hali wrote.
"Is your BOYfriend texting you?" she giggled.
"NO! It's one of my friends!" I shouted.
"Sure~ anyway, I gotta go! Black Butler is on tonight! Bye!" she said as she walked out the door.
"Bye!" I giggled.
The next morning I woke up and realized that it was saturday. I got up took a shower, fixed myself up, and grabbed my ipad while I sat down on the couch. Since there was nothing else to do, I decided to text Hali and tell her goodmorning. As, I was waiting for her to reply I went to go play Flappy Bird on my computer. 'Wow, I've spent ALL day playing games without eating or drinking' I gasped. I got up and decided to make myself some pancakes. After going through the whole process of making the pancake batter, I started to create funny little faces. When I finished making my pancakes I decided to feed my pet pug. But, after feeding my fat little dog I washed my hands and began to eat my pancakes. Eating one after another I could feel myself gain 1,000 pounds eating each pancake. Then, finally when i finished my last pancake my phone vibrated. I stood up and put my plate in the sink as I sat back on the couch. "Goodmorning! I'm sorry I replied really late. I was busy doing something!" I read out loud. I replied back saying 'It's alright! So, what's up?' as I turned off my phone and set it on the charger and decided to sketch some stuff.
I sighed as I laid back into my warm bed. " IM SO BORED!" I shouted. I began to laugh as I heard my words echo throughout the room. During my laughter, I decided to help out the cupcake shop. I got dressed and made my way to the shop. But, as I walked out the door my phone buzzed as i took it out of my pocket to check who it was. "Sup bro," I silently read. As, I replied with a simple 'hi' as i walked into the empty cupcake shop. I walked into the kitchen to see Oliver and Scott taking a break. "
" You here to help, Loey?!" Scott exclaimed. "
"Yeah," I said as i sat down to read the text Hali had sent me two seconds ago.
Hey what's wrong bro? You always get excited when we get to talk to each other! Tell me what's wrong please!' I sighed as I decided to tell her how I feel, so I replied back saying 'I'm just afraid that we won't be able to see each other face-to-face,' She replied back a minute later saying ' I am too Loey. But, I PROMISE we will see each other in the future and become the best of friends! But, for now we have to stay strong.Ok?'Just by reading this it made me smile, knowing that she cared about our friendship. 'Okay Hali, I trust you. And, I really do hope we will meet each other someday,' I giggled as I sent the text. As she replied back saying, 'Yeah! And, in the future we will be best friends and will stick together forever and always.'
