I know. I shouldn't have chosen to do this. But it's the only way I can help my friends. Annabeth and Thalia know. They're the only ones who I trust. I told Annabeth personally, and when I heard Thalia was no longer a tree, I sent a message to Annabeth to tell her too.
The truth is, I joined him to get inside information on Kronos, and tell Annabeth this information.
-Flashback-
Percy was out with Luke, and when he turned up in the infirmary, I was told of what Luke really was.I pulled Annabeth outside of the infirmary, as I made a huge choice.
"Look, Annie. I have a plan, but you can't tell a soul. Can I trust you?" I asked, plead in my eyes. I'm a year older than her and Percy (son if Poseidon), so I treat her like my little sister.
"I won't. I swear on Athena, I won't." Annabeth said, deadly serious.
"I'm going to 'join' Luke, get inside information. I won't Iris Message - it's too risky. But I'll shadow travel if I find out anything important." I explained. I expected her to debate against it, but instead she nodded tearily.
"Go. I'll tell Percy some make believe story. Send me a letter as soon as you can." Annabeth said, and I gave her a hug.
So, I ran to the Hades cabin, and packed a backpack. I put in Nectar and Ambrosia, as well as some weapons, paper and a pen. I plaited my hair to one side, and put on some black leggings, and a brown top with a thick hood attached. I put on a black leather jacket, and put on my brown, knee high boots.
I headed over to one side of the room, where a shadow was casted. I took a deep breath, and travelled over to where I knew Luke would be. When he was told, I gave him evidence that I was on the dark side, and I 'joined'. Or so he thought.
I knew my mission to Camp Half Blood was dangerous, a death threat. But it was a risk I was willing to take.
