Do you sometimes wake in a place you thought you would never return to?

This happens to me at least every two to three days. But the thing is, once I return there, I can never remember what I was doing the day before or how I got there.

"The experience always begins in one way: I wake up in the middle of a gazebo. It's always night during then.'Where heck am I?' I asked myself. On the floor there's a rectangular object...

My ID card... I thought to myself. Next to it was a Kitsune mask. the type you'd see at a Japanese festival or something similar. Then I'd remember the rumours.. There was a rumour that my parents were involved in "black magic" or something like that. I didn't believe them because i thought that some spoiled brat started them. Besides, my parents are my parents. Other than being the ones who raised me, they're somewhat my role models. But they are dead. Killed in an accident or something.

I got up from the cold floor and walked towards the nearest sign. Whether it was accurate or the damn sign was blurry or something, I spelled out the words that form the name 'Alexander Park'. Looking at the mask and the card I made the decision. I picked up the card and placed the mask on my face since I  really didn't have anywhere else to place it but this is when things get weird...

After placing the mask on my face, my vision goes blurry and I pass out. The last few times it occurred, the guards picked me up and had to send me home or the hospital. This time should have been no different. But it was.

The story is usual except for the cloudy vision. This time I placed the mask on my face and I saw a face...... mom's face but darker and with an evil smile... then before I knew it, I was back in the park, holding a knife. A bloody knife and in front of me, I saw something... a corpse... a man tied to the park's sign by rope. As I went to investigate, I was disturbed by a familiar voice..

'WATERBREAK!' I turned to see a guard running towards me. 'Third time this week Waterbreak! I have told you a million times now the park is off limits! If I see you here one m-' he broke off; he had seen the corpse and then, he look at me, the color draining from his face as he shone his flashlight at me. He was trying to reach for his gun but stopped and took out his taser instead. 'Um' I stuttered. 'Could you put that away?' but then he stunned me and the next thing I knew, i was in a cell.."

"So, you say that you woke up in the middle of an abandoned park covered in Roger's blood?" asked Mr Izmu, the prison's therapist. "Yeah, do think I'm lying?" I said. "You do know that your fingerprints were on the murder weapon used to kill Roger, the man on the sign." he continued. "There is evidence you killed him but, after listening to your story, there may be a chance you didn't. But the decision to release you does not reside with me. You should head back to your cell. after all, you can't stay outside your cell for more than an hour." "Fine" I said. and back to my cell I went because after all, I can never leave the darkness I was mean't to leave behind. It'll follow me every where I go. How do I know? Mom told me... yesterday....
