The trio left, scarred from all the shocking events. They were climbing down a small hill of sand when they heard doors slide open, they turned around only to see the special forces running towards them. They opened fire, forcing the group to retreat towards a nearby city. Bullets flew by, almost hitting Arkin, they hid inside a building that had no roof as it had collapsed towards a nearby house. John ushered them to stay quiet as they heard hurried footsteps go by. They waited a few minutes, no footsteps were nearby. "Are we safe?" Arkin asked, then out of nowhere, a metal can fell to the floor. It wasn't outside, deduced Justin as he realized that the metallic clang echoed. He looked around the dark room until his eyes fell onto a figure standing still a few feet away from them. Justin screamed in horror as it began running towards them, Arkin pulled out a baton he got from a guard and smacked the figure's head, it fell to the floor with its head hitting the ground so hard it made it crack. John inspected the figure before it got up, its head was covered in old blood and its clothes were torn apart. They ran away as it began to stand back up, it made a loud growl before charging again. "It's a zombie!" Arkin yelled as he kicked it down again. As it fell to the floor, Justin pulled out a pistol and shot its head. "That was a horrible idea!" John yelled, Justin didn't realize that the gun shot would alert the forces. Shortly after, they heard windows being smashed and people running. The trio quickly got out of the building as they were pursued by the people who want them to be soldiers. The special forces were being led by Romer who wanted the trio dead as his boss was killed. They once again, opened fire towards the trio. They were caught in the open once again, they had only two options, to join them once again or to bleed out in the desert. Arkin kneeled down with his hands in the air, the two also followed. "Finally, senses arrived at your dumb head." Romer said as his men surrounded the three. "It is quite obvious how all your actions have shook our organization and it is pretty hard to fix considering how many heads you bashed with a pistol." he continued. Romer suddenly dragged Arkin away from the group, saying "I want this one to fight me, mano a mano. Your friends will regret ever having you as the leader." He said as he kicked Arkin's face. With a fit of rage, Arkin charged towards Romer, knocking him down to the ground. Arkin grabbed him by the neck and began squeezing, Romer struggled to get him off. Then, a sudden thunk was heard. Arkin looked down to see that Romer had brought out a knife and had stabbed him in the stomach. Arkin fell to the ground as blood began to pour out of him, Romer laughed as Arkin was dying. There was no hope, Arkin was gonna die and he was gonna leave his friends to suffer in the special forces, being tortured and forced to work for them. The forces dragged the two away from Arkin, back to their never-ending exercise. John began struggling as they took them away, Justin just gave up. They began walking to the special forces' building, knowing that Arkin was no longer a threat. They had cleaned up the corpses near the door it seemed as there were no bodies there. One of the men went ahead, pulling out a key card, the key card reader in the door began scanning it. They were just about to go inside, until a swift figure slashed the throat of the man in front. The men began to open fire at the figure wearing a white suit along with a white mask. Seeing this as a chance, Justin sweep-kicked down the people around him, John did this as well. In under a minute, everyone was completely wiped out, except for the two friends. The figure walked up to them, "Are you okay?" He asked
"Yeah, yeah. Who are you?" John asked in return.
"Wouldn't you like to know, John?" He said as he removed his mask.
"S-sean?!" John asked as he saw an old friend who had saved his life.
