THIS RAVENOUS LOVE
What is Love? Well according to the standard definition love is; an intense feeling of deep affection. But for Artemis De La Fontaine love had alawys been something she had craved.
Artemis would say she had a good childhood. She grew up in Southern France of 1002 with her mother, father, little brother and little sister. She would recall the days playing in her family's garden with her little siblings or taking a stroll down the town to shop for food.
What she didn't know was how much debut her father was in, and how much he owned The Count Martel and despite what he earned from his job merchant, it wasn't enough and one fateful night while her family was alseep, they were attacked by the knights of the Count and it resulted in the death of her whole family, all expect her.
She thought she was died but with interference from The Count himself who was responsible for the attack, he spared Artemis after one of the knights witness her hiding under her family's floor and she became a servant for them.
And it was from that on, she would live in the chambers of the castle. She did her duties. She worked the diffcult and demanding, with long hours. Preparing the food aswell as cleaning and storing. She didn't however do it alone, while she spent her times there she was able to befriend Luicen Castle, a fellow servant just like herself.
They took care of one another and too her Luicen was a big brother she didn't know she needed. Some times they would steal whatever include a extra pastery or bread but of course that didn't come without consequences. When they did get caught, it would result in both of them being punshined, Artemis didn't know what happened with Lucien but it would usually include him being tortured in the dunengon and Artemis meeting a quite similar fate.
