A short while before you left,
I saw the light slowly starting to dim from you.
You no longer laughed at our inside jokes,
Or called me filled with happiness
because she said something that made you smile.
You used to be so full of life,
throwing passion and emotions everywhere you went.
But slowly that was drained from you
And i don't know why,
I'm not sure I want to know why.
It would probably break my heart.
Anyway, you left
And I knew it was gonna happen.
Maybe you decided you needed someone new
someone who could bring that light in you out again.
If that case, I'll leave you be.
Even though I feel surrounded by darkness since you left,
I never want you feel that way.
So go. Be happy. Fill other with light
And live your life the way you know how.
