Chapter 1

April's POV

"They're you are" Jake said hugging me from behind. I smiled as I turned around. "Hey" I said with a faint smirk. Jake reached in for a kiss. I leaned back against my locker trying to avoid a fall. "Baby hurry and grab your shit so we can get out of here" Jake snickered. I grabbed my bag and slammed my locker close. "Ready!" I smiled running into his arms. I than jumped down and we exited the school. Jake and I than approached my car that I had gotten last year as a gift. I got into the passenger seat quickly signaling I didn't wanna drive today. "Where we headed?" I asked as he exited the lot. "My sister Mya is at the AirPort. She is finally coming back from seeing my dad." Jake said with a frown. "You don't seem to happy" I said surprised. "Well I am but... She can be a little uptight." Jake said. I grabbed his hand and smiled "I'm sure she's nice". We stayed like that the rest of the way to the airport.

When we arrived at the airport it was chaotic. So many people swarming, and pushing to get to where they need to go trying not to miss their planes. " There she is" Jake said getting out of the car. A girl with dark brown hair and big hazel eyes had been moving frantically towards us. "Hi I'm Mya" the girl said with a smile. "Hey bird shit" Jake said giving Mya a hug. "Babe... Be nice, but hello I'm April, Jakes girlfriend" I said observing Mya. We all entered the car and a stroke of silence filled the air. "So can we listen to music?" Mya asked trying to break the silence. "Of corse" I acted impulsively and turned on the radio. I leaned back and daydreamed while Jake drove. I thought to my self: "Mya she is so beautiful I wish I was as pretty as her. It's not fair! She was just so pretty." "Babe?" Jake said getting out of the car. Where here already? Was I really thinking about Mya that whole time? We entered my house to a warm smell of cookies baking. "Mom are you baking?" I asked enjoying the smell. "Yes. Do you have company?" Mom yelled back. "Duh" I screamed. "Well I am going to use the bathroom" Jake said walking away. "Uhh you can come with me into my room" I said leading her upstairs. "Wow this is huge, and very pretty. I wish I had a room like this" Mya said amazed. I laughed and sat in my bed. "So why were you gone so long? And how come I never met you?" I asked. "Jake doesn't really talk about me to his friends" I looked away and so did Mya, I looked back slowly. She was gorgeous, she was sweet, she was smart. I felt my face heat up. But why? It can't be, no of corse not. I'm straight one hundred percent... Or was I?
