Chapter 2

I dreamt of the war. I could see my brother torn apart and the Alpha and his son burned to death. I dreamt of it every night even after 2 years it still haunts me.The last thing I see is my brothers blood on his killers mouth. My eyes snap open my sharp senses flip on automatically. My alarm clock said it was 5:30. It was time to train the pack. I walked out my door my Beta Henry greeted me
"Morning Alpha" he said.
"Morning Henry wake up the Warriors and have them line up at the North East end of the territory." I said sternly.
"Yes alpha." He said and walked away quickly. I continued walking through the pack house and got a few good mornings and went to the training center. I had 250 warriors but only 15 were there and they were giving each other piggy back rides and talking about girls. My rage was spilling over and my eyes were turning darker by the second.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" I yelled furiously they looked at me with wide eyes and fear was the only thing you could smell. "LINE UP NOW!" My voice filling the peace of the territory. The boys scrambled and got in line as quick as they could running on top of each other. I paced back and forth looking at each of them closely.
"Now can any of you ladies explain to me why I have 250 warriors and only 15 of them are here." my voice lacing with authority. They all looked at me blank faced like if they blinked they would be killed. I stopped in front of a first year. He looked at the ground. He had dark brown hair and grey eyes.
"You," I pointed at him. "What's your name."
"S-s-sean." He replied
"Now Sean can you explain to me why everyone is gone." my greens eyes burning into his.
"I don't know Alpha." he said quietly
"Ok. That's fine. But do answer my question why were you on time to training?" I said
"I knew if I was late there would be consequences." Sean said.
"You are absolutely correct. Thank you Sean." I said. Right then my warriors came in. Late.
"Well look who decided to show up." I said as I looked at my men they all looked at the ground and did not dare to look me in the eye.
"LINE UP!" I yelled. They hurried into the line with all the others.
"It is 6:15. Training started at 6:00. Only 15 of my 250 men showed up on time." I scanned each one of them. I looked at my Third in Command.
"Why were you late John?" I asked with my dark eyes.
"I slept in too long." he mumbled quietly.
"You slept in too long? For each and every warrior that was late you each get to run the territory 3 times in human form and no breaks except when you get to each quadrant you do 150 push-ups. If I catch any of you cheating you will double the work. As for the people that were on time we will have hand to hand combats. Your excused boys."
"Yes alpha." they all chanted starting their hard work.
"Alright Sean you are a first year so today all I want you doing is observing for today. It impresses me that you are the only brave enough first year to come into training. Come have a seat next to me." I said
"Yes alpha." he said
"Eli your up against Jordan. Maddie your up against Matt. Jack your up against Shane. Carson your up against Liam. Kiera your up against Sierra. Blake your up against James . Jakob you up against Chandler. The winner of the completion gets the day off tomorrow the loser gets to do the circuit. Good luck." I said. The fights were good I could see them getting stronger and progressing. Each one lasted an hour. My warriors resisting to give up.
"Good job you guys are improving. Thank you for being on time today. Sleep well and I'll see some of you tomorrow. You are dismissed." they all bowed their heads in respect and shuffled off back to the pack house. I soon followed them and went to my study. The phone started to ring. I picked it up. "Hello."
"Hello Alpha Amber this is Alpha Drake I am calling to inform you of the Blood Crescents actions lately. Alpha Matthew had died and he son has now taken over." Alpha Drake said.
"Wait Alpha Matthew has a son I didn't even think he had s mate." I said curiously.
"Yes she died somewhat last year rouge attack. Since his sons has taken over he is starting to attack other pack trying to take over them adding to his 2,000 population." Drake said.
"Thank you Alpha Drake I'll arrange a meeting with Matthews Son and Alpha Steel and I can ask for your presence there." I asked
"Yes Alpha." he said
"I will see you Tuesday alpha drake tell Miranda I said hi." I said
"I will good bye." I put down the phone and dialed The Blood Crescent pack. After the series of ringing the phone was picked up with a deep voice.

"What do you want." Was all the son said.
"Excuse me I would appreciate more of your authority Black. I am indeed sorry for your loss but I would like to have a meeting with you Alpha Steel and Alpha drake." I said angrily.
"When." his voice like steel.
"Tuesday at 12:00."
"Ok I'll see you Tuesday at the hall." Before I even had the chance to response he hanged up leaving me with silence of my study.
