Walking down the forested path, was none other than Mr. Sanctuary. He was a man with Pitch black skin and red hair that looked almost like burning flames. The only clothing he had on are a pair of black skin tight shorts. He thought as he walked down the path. He could hear the birds chirping and the critters scurrying. He walked as he thought. He thought of nothing but of what had happened and how it happened. He thought of his mistakes, his misfortunes, his past....
Hustling down the street, trying to get there on time. Repeating the same words over and over, "Don't be late. Don't be late. Don't be late." I round the corner to the left, speeding up to a brick wall. I quickly glance around me to see if the coast is clear. Seeing no one around, I turn to the wall and press a metal looking brick. The wall almost immediately split in two, opening wide enough for me to pass through. I hurry down the dark blood red hall, my shoes making an almost inaudible thud against the dark purple carpet. I quickly glance down at my watch, fear surging through me immediately. No, I can't be late! Not again! I brake into a run, trying to beat the clock. I soon run into a room that had a throne off to the right with a man sitting down in it. I come to a halt right in front of him and get down on one knee, bowing my head. As I try to calm my breath, the man stands up and steps down two steps then stops. My body shaking from the adrenaline, fear piercing through me as the man speaks. "You are late." My breath hitches as I hear the sound of leather. I lift my head in time to see the man raise his hand that held the whip. Then, the man lashed....
Mr. Sanctuary shook his head, clearing away the abusive memory. As he continues down the path, he starts to notice the earie silence. The birds have stopped chirping, the critters no longer scurrying. Nothing but silence. Mr. Sanctuary paused, listening for any noise. What he heard was not what you expect to hear in a forest, two heart beats. One of them were very faint but he could still hear it. Mr. Sanctuary starts walking toward the faint heartbeat. As he's walking, he lets his mind wonder. Another memory lingering in the back of his mind that began the whole process.
Darkness was all I could see. Everywhere I looked, was pitch black. Suddenly, I was jolted out of that void of darkness. I opened my eyes, gasping for air, as ice cold water dripped from my hair. I move my hands and grasp the chains that restrained me. I look up to see the man. The man I had served. The man that would whip me until my back dripped with blood from the lashes. That same man grabbed my chin, forcing my head still as he brought a spoon up to my face, digging into my left eye socket, carving my eye out as I screamed in pain. Pain was all I could feel for a few seconds. Those seconds was the most painful I have had in my entire life. Once the man pulled the spoon out, he grabbed a jar from a metal table off to my right. Medical tools scattered across the surface. The man placed my eye in the jar and set it back on the table. The man brought the blooded spoon to my right eye, digging the spoon in once again, taking my sight and replacing it with pain. I screamed as he continued carving out my eye. Once again, all I could see was darkness. All I could feel was pain and the blood as it dripped down my cheeks, off my chin and onto the concrete floor. Then, a pressure was applied to my neck, forcing me into unconsciousness....
Once again, Mr. Sanctuary shook his head, pushing the memory. He turned his head slightly to the left, listening for the heartbeat. He could hear it much more clear now. Not only could he hear the heartbeat but also smell the flesh of the human that had wondered so far into the forest. He could hear his own heart quicken as adrenaline flowed through his veins. He quickly ordered his body to change. His bones quickly started to change as his new form took place. His bare feet changed to paws as did his hands. Pitch black fur grew all over his body, the shorts becoming one with his body, and his face changed into one of a wolf. His teeth grew sharp as his tail bone grew to form a bushy tail. Finally, everything stopped and in Mr. Sanctuary's place stood a pitch-black furred wolf. Its back reached to the height of a six-foot five tall man's chest.
The wolf lifted his nose in the air, taking a whiff, letting out a growl. He leaped forward toward the scent of the human, licking his chops as another memory comes flooding his mind.
I awoke with another shock of ice-cold water being splashed on my face, sending a burning sensation in my eye sockets as some of the water got inside. My heart raced as panic zapped through my body. I could feel cold metal against my bare skin, for I could only feel a pair of skin tight shorts for clothing and nothing else. I tried to calm myself as I listened to what was happening around me. I could hear multiple people speaking, saying the same exact thing but in some foreign language. I tried to move my hands to be stopped by what felt like leather straps around my wrists. I started to panic, thrashing, trying to break free, but failed. I felt straps wrapped around my ankles. Then, out of nowhere, I could feel this thick tar like substance being poured on me that burned my skin and another thinner liquid being poured in my hair. A few seconds of having the liquid on my body, pain surged through my body as I felt the straps get taken off, one by one. I cried out as I felt my body change. I could feel my bones breaking and being put back together. I could feel my tail bone growing longer, my hands and feet shrink then grow into paws, my face extend into what feels like a snout. I could feel hair start to grow from my skin as the shorts become part of my skin. I heaved as the pain slowly died down. Once the pain mellowed out and I could breathe normally, I took a whiff of air. My heart started to race once again as I licked my lips, lunging forward at the people in front of me, snapping my jaws. All that was heard at that moment was bones breaking and screams....
The wolf ran forward. He kept running and wouldn't stop until he got his meal. Once the wolf could sense the human was close enough, he lunged, snapping his jaws shut. The sound of bones breaking, and screams was all that could be heard. After the wolf had finished his meal, he began to shift form. He stood up on his hind legs as his paws changed back into hands and feet, his snout going back to a mans face, his fur going back into his skin and his tail shrinking, revealing the only clothing that he wore. The wolf was once again, Mr. Sanctuary, and Mr. Sanctuary had became known as the Eyeless Wolf.
