Short story series:Under the same tree and the same bench

"I don't" what why did she say that? " hey babe it's okay are you nervous don't worry we can do this "No!" Tears began to falling from her eyes "I love you but I can't stand seeing you this way, I know deep inside you, you still love her even through the years, I know that, you try to hide it but it's obvious and  I know how Much it hurts but I'd rather be married to someone else rather see you like that with our future kids" I was lost for words " Here" she hands me the engagement ring "But" she kissed me and hugged me tightly " I love you go now and do what's you've always wanted to do" I looked at her and thanked her and ran away as fast as I can to search for her. I tried finding her in the bus stop, taxi stop, heck anything that has a stop but I couldn't find her. I was running out of ideas until I saw some workers carrying a body of a Cherry blossom tree " Could it be? Is she there?" I ran as fast as I can. Only to see her crying cover her eyes with her hands. Just like that I met her. I smiled happily and sat beside her. I was about to talk when she she said "If I open my eyes and see you there I will love you again but this time I won't commit the same mistakes I did again" I chuckled at her silently and when she opened her eyes I saw her utter disappointment as I wasn't there. "You do know that I liked this part of the bench" she slowly turned her towards me "Surprised? Me too" "aren't you supposed to be at your wedding? Or is it over already" "well its over" " oh" " For me and her" she looked surprised at me " but why?" She asked "she can she through me, haha I guess I wasn't really the best person to hide my feelings" I grasped her hand " I still love you, will you give me another chance?" "Oh come on now I should be the one saying that" she lifts my head up "I do now and forever, how about you?" "I do now and forever love you Mi amor" we hugged each other tightly and kissed as lovers reunited and now live as one forever and ever till death do us part.
