Hi! 

So, I've decided to write a special chapter in celebration of this book having 100K reads. Yey! Thank you so much to those who'd been reading Unexpected LOVE this past few months. I've been really grateful because even though I know I'm an amateur writer and there's really nothing special to expect from this book, the feedback that I've received is very overwhelming. 

To make everything short, here's a special chapter dedicated to all of you who gave time and patience reading this book. I love you all and maybe I'll see some of you on my other stories.

DEAN

I watched her intently trying to read what's on her mind while she looked back with a cold expression. I don't know what's bothering her this past few days but she changed. 

Lumamig ang pakiki-tungo niya sakin at mukhang nawawalan na rin siya ng gana kaya mas pinagiigihan ko ang araw-araw na pakikipagkita sa kanya. Maybe it would suffice whatever problem we have or what she has with me.

"Let's break up." 

I shifted in my seat and immediately becomes attentive.

"W-what... what are you saying?"

Damn! 

Tumiim ang titig niya sakin at mas lalo akong nanghinayang. She seems sincere while I am suddenly lost.

"I just realized,"

Lumingon siya sa paligid kung saan masayang naglalaro ang ilang kabataan. Andito kami ngayon sa park ng subdivision namin kung saan sinadya niya talagang dito makipagkita. 

Tumayo ako at ginulo ang buhok para sa unti-unting nauubos na pasensya. She sighed kaya nabalik sa kanya ang atensyon ko.

"I love Enrieque for a long time now. I'm sorry it took time for me to say this to you but I realized that it's wrong for us to continue--"

"Bullshit!"

Ganun na lang lahat yun? For once, I didn't lack in expressing what I feel for her and this is what she... Fuck! All this time...

"I'm sorry, Dj."

Looking back, it did break me to the point that I rebel after it happened. My friends said I changed because of that. 

Hindi ko naman iyon idi-deny. It's true. It hurts my ego big time. I mean, I loved her and it took us years for her to finally told me that she loved someone else. What hurts the most was that the guy he truly loved is my friend. 

My parents are so disappointed about what I've become. Nag-iisang anak nila ako kaya they were too attentive of everything that I do. After I and Stephanie broke up, I shifted my attention to collecting cars and to my friends. I did enough trouble making my parents more desperate to tame me. They used the idea of me loving my car collections too much as the only way for me to behave.

They blackmailed me.

In the end, I am so thankful they did because if they didn't, I wouldn't have met my very beautiful wife and I wouldn't have a handsome son and a lovely daughter today.

It was a blessing in disguise.

Marami man kaming pinagdaanan bago namin nabuo ng masaya ang pamilya namin ay hindi pa rin iyon naging hadlang para ipagpatuloy ang nasimulan. It may have started in a wrong way and time but it still end up the way we didn't expect it to be.
