"For the last time now Vanessa, stop crying!,"cried Julian, exasperated.
'I can't help it. It's a tearjerker okay? ', I sniffed. 'But you've seen Titanic for, I don't know, 12 times? How does that shit make you cry every time? 'I glared at him and that was enough to shut him up. Nobody talks about Young Leo like that. I loved him.
He then retrieved the remote and switched the channels. He kept changing until the sports one came. 'Ugh please. Not now. Especially when I just cried my eyes out. ' I pleaded.
He took no notice and continued watching, his eyes glued to the TV screen. I rolled eyes as I got up from the couch. Ice cream might help me now. As I was about to eat a spoonful of chocolaty goodness, the doorbell rang. Great timing.
I opened the door to find my best friend, Emily standing. 'Girl, you okay? ', she asked with concern. I was about to reply when Julian shouted ' Titanic night! '. She nodded and grinned.
Apparently, Julian was one of my best friends too. And it so happened that Emily and Julian were a couple. Emily was in the cheerleading squad at school. She was outgoing, witty and beautiful with her perfect body, tanned legs and shining green eyes. Julian was a nerd-turned-football player. With his "swoon worthy"body, I quote, note the sarcasm please and his blue eyes with mischief shining in them and blonde hair that fell on his forehead. They now were in a heated argument on whether the milk is first to be put or the cereal.
Real mature guys, real mature.
I honestly don't know how I fit in with my friends. I am, let's say, average looking. Average body, average height. Brown eyes too big for my face and dark brown curls which were in a wild state right now.
'Hey Vanessa, wanna help me? ', cried Emily who was now in my bed room with two dresses in her hands.
'Coming! ', I said.
This is the first chapter. If there is any mistake do tell me. I am an amateur writer so lol. I know it's a little bit cringey but I'll improve.
