"Hey Mills, I've been thinking of hosting a party for all of the juniors at our school, since it's our last day in a few weeks and- " Sadie started, But Millie quickly interrupted.
"Um yeah, that'd be great and all, but you know that I don't do parties!" Millie replied.
"Come on Millie! Please come to my party, you've missed every one of them." Sadie sighed and placed her hands on her best friends' shoulders. "You need to have some fun. You're always stressed out about school and that's taking a huge toll on your mental health. Please just let it out and come to this party. And who knows, maybe you'll meet someone."

At this, Millie sighed and rolled her eyes at the too convincing Sadie Sink. Ever since Sadie and her had become friends, Sadie always tried to push her out of her box and experience incredible things. But she wasn't so sure about the party, she didn't want to lose herself and get drunk and do stupid stuff. Despite how she felt inside, Millie managed to smile at her overjoyed best friend. Besides, if I don't want to stay any longer, I won't be forced to stay at the party. She thought.
———
It was the night of the party and Millie dreaded going to it. Sadie and Lilia, her best friends, had come to help her pick an outfit, and even did her hair and makeup, much to Millie's dismay. She just didn't want to go to the party, was that so hard to comprehend?
"Ah, perfect!" Lilia squealed as she curled the last piece of Millie's hair. Millie smiled, it was the first time she had curled her hair, and now that she agreed to go to the party, it would probably not be the last time.
"Hey guys, I gotta run. I need to make sure that everything is okay at my house before I let the guests enter." Sadie said and went to get her coat off of Millie's bed. Both Millie and Lilia nodded, and at that, Sadie practically ran outside to her car.
It was going to be a long night.

———
It was 6:30 P.M. when Millie and Lilia pulled up to Sadie's house. It was beautiful, very vintage inspired, as it was made out of beautiful red bricks. Millie reached to open the car door, but it was locked.
"Listen, Millie. I need to tell you some things before we enter the house. I am telling you these things from experience, and just want what's best for you. I know that you're supposed to have fun, but don't cross what you think is wrong according to your morals. Sure, drink, but not too much. Don't agree to go into a bedroom alone with another guys, we all know how that'll end. Okay, now we can go." Millie nodded and gently opened the car door.

They entered the house and the smell of alcohol already hit her. She was not going to like this party at all.

Author's note! Ok so I'm pumped to write this book and the plot is gonna be SO GOOD. I know that this story kinda started off as all the other books start, but it's gonna get better and I'm gonna put my own twist to it, so be ready. I'll most likely have the next chapter out in a few hours, be on the lookout.
Lol I doubt that anyone is reading this, but if you are, thank you so much!
