Skys Adventure

chapter 1

I looked out of my window. "Its nice outside today" I wisperd to myself. I decided to go for a walk. I grabbed my shoes and amulet. It was very special to me. My mom gave it to me when i was younger. The amulet was made of gold but I hate calling it that so instead i call it butter. Incased in the butter is an amythist gem that brights up bright purple when a squid is near.

       Squids, vile creatures they are. They are one of the reasons i live alone. Im only 17 and refuse to go to an orphanage.

I walk out of my house and lock the door behind me. I turn twards the woods and start walking. I get at least a few feet in the wood when i see a flash of neon green out of the corner of my eye. I turned to where i saw it but nothing but trees where there replacing the spot that i saw it. I shook it off as the sun just shining on the damp leaves of the morning.

I walk a little further and hear some rustling in the leaves to my right. I turn only to get knocked to the ground. I am a little dizzy from the force of the hit.
