The Source

Frozen In Time

Today was October 17th Summer’s birthday and again I sit outside of The Source as the door shut behind her. I am by all of my friends. I have Kyan to my right, Josh to my left, Suzan behind me to the left, and Dylan somewhere in the crowd probably by his girlfriend Kristina Lea Anne.

Kristina Lea Anne has blond wavy hair that touches one fourth or her back and she has golden-brown eyes. She has her power already and it is the power to freeze things. She and Dylan recently hooked up and well they are as intense as me and the boys.

 

Anyways after Kyleigh exited she came straight over to us and Kristina and Dylan came over as well.

“So?” I ask excitedly.

“I have three powers.” Summer says slowly and I place a hand over my mouth and calm myself before I start jumping up and down.

“What ones?” I ask eagerly.

“I have the powers to walk through walls, change into animals, and heal people.” She says. I smile and squeeze Josh’s arm as I am holding on to it.

“Well how about a party at my place?” I ask slowly breaking the silence between our little huddle.

“I didn’t get one from you.” Josh whines. I turn to him.

“Because you’re not my sister or bestest friend.” I say then turn back to Summer.

“Sure.” She says and then smiles. I nod and grab my phone.

To: Kyan+Josh+Summer+Suzan+Dylan+Kristina+Arthur+Ryan+Samantha+Andrea+Reda+Kollin+Kaden+Katie: Party @ my place and y’all invited be there @ 7:00  

I hit send and everyones phones around me buzzed. Everyone took out there phone.

“So a party at your place, at seven. Sounds great.” Everyone says and then we all split apart everyone but me and Josh. We just walk with our arms linked. My phone buzzed like ten times and once we finally sat down I grabbed my phone.

From: Katie: Party? Wht 4?

From: Samantha+Andrea+Reda+Kollin+Kaden+Arthur: B there!

From: Kyan: Hey after the party can we talk somewhere private??

From: Summer: Need help w/ the set up?

From: Suzan: Be there 4sure!

I texted Kyan back first and then I was gonna answer Summer.

To: Kyan: Yeah.

To: Summer: Sure meet me there @ 5 bring snacks and stuff too. I will help w/ tht as well.

I felt like the whole thing was ready but why did Kyan want to talk to me alone after the party? Not during? I shrugged and looked over to Josh. He was staring at me his eyes sparkling and his smile smiling. I smiled and laid myself back onto his chest. He smiled and wrapped an arm around me and laid his chin on the top of my head. We sat there for a while chatting and then I had to get home and set with Summer.

I got there and a few minutes later Summer walked in with chips, candy, and some drinks (soda and beer). I helped her with the stuff and laid it out on the counter then I went to turn on the radio and make room for people which meant moving some things around but finally i was done and it was six something so me and Summer sat on the couch listening to music and talking. I was drinking soda and same with Summer. I wasn’t really up to having a beer but I knew I’d find one in my hand later today.
