"Don't forget that we have a biology test next week." the whole class groaned.
Any teenager would procrastinate on tests like these. Disliking school wasn't anything new to the students, but liking it? Only a few liked it and one of them was Kim Minji, a top student.
"I can't wait for the test! I should study early just to make sure I get good grades!" the girl squealed as she walked side by side with her best friend, Seo Changbin.
Changbin sighed, "All you ever do is study anyways. Why do you even want to study early when you're already a top student?"
Minji rolled her eyes, "You wouldn't understand, I have a goal since I was a little kid." she said harshly. She didn't mean it, it was just annoying to be asked the same question over and over again.
She realized what she said and mentally slapped herself, "Sorry about that... I didn't mean to snap at you."
"It's alright," Changbin smiled "It's my fault anyways. I should've know that you're annoyed being asked the same question."
This was why Minji liked being friends with him. He understands her and respects her. They've been friends since kindergarten so you could say that they know eachother more than they know themselves.
'I'm glad I'm friends with him.' Minji smiled to herself.
"Oh yeah, are you guys performing for the festival that university Chan and Woojin are in? I heard that the festival is in 6 months so I think you guys have enough time to prepare yourselves." Minji changed the subject.
Changbin's eyes sparkled, "Of course, why wouldn't we? Though we're looking for one more person since if it's just the eight of us performing, it just doesn't feel right."
"Is it okay for you guys to perform even though we're still in high school?" Minji asked.
"Yeah Chan hyung asked the person who's in charge for the festival and they said it was alright since there were other schools performing there."
Minji was shocked, "Is that university THAT famous?"
"I guess so." Changbin chuckled.
The walk to their lockers was quiet. The atmosfer wasn't awkward though, it was just peacefully quiet. However, it soon ended when Changbin's eyes landed to a figure infront of Minji's locker.
