Unknown Love

Chapter 2

Me and Elena strode past mall shops until we reached the food court. We ordered from subway and sat at a table near it.

"So are you exitced for Skais good bye party, since you know we are all moving away with in a month?" Elena asked me.

"I guess, I mean i loved highschool but it was sort of a blur to me." I said."I just can't believe after everything were just parting ways."

"Well its temperary. We'll just take turns flying to eachother every summer. First everyone to you for the summer and then everyone to me, everyone to Skai and every one to Logan." She said and by every one she means three of our four group.

"How many people are coming?"

"Every one in our senior class was invited. The parties at Skais lake house." Elena informed me."Its tonight so i wanna get us cute oufits."

"Alright, which stores do you want to shop in?"

"Claires for acsesseries, Forever 21 for clothes and payless for shoes." She answered. I put up my eyebrow.

"Really?"

"What i like Payless, i can get almost 3 pairs of good shoes for less than 80$." She explained.

Alright then. My attention was diverted when we saw a girl with bobbed brown hair and elecric blue eyes. She wore a waist apron that had subway written on it, then i saw she had 2 trays and she's coming towards us. I looked at her name tag and it said Andi on it. Then i recognized her. She was best friends with Skai until we befriended her and Andi, we never paid that much attention to her. She was slightly pale for my taste but she looked really nice but also tired and she looked like she worked a lot. Every once in a while i notice a red gleam in her eyes or she'll cover up her mouth but you'll get a glimpse of fangs. She has a secret but i dont know what.

"Hello my name is Andi and this is your order. Its 10.95$ youcan pay now or at the counter." When we didnt answer she nodded "Counter it is then."

She walked away and took someones order.

"I forgot Andi worked here." Elena said.

"Me too," I said then added," Does it ever seem like she's hiding something?"

"Sometimes." Elena answered quietly. "Alright let's get shopping."

After 3 hours we were finally done. Then I found my self back at my house. 5 hours before the party starts. Once me and Elena got to my house, we both took turns taking showers and now we are sitting on my bed with wet hair, underwear and bathrobes on.

"Here are your clothes." Elena said handing me some bags.

"Thank you." I said tearing out the clothes.

After minutes of make up, hair styling and dressing, we were finally ready. I was dressed in black tights that had slits that were on the knees and were as long as my leg and as thin as a thread, my shirt was strapless and a deep blue color that went a little below my butt and was almost skin tight and to finish my out fit I wore ankle boots that were about 3 inches high and the heel was a bout a fingers length wide.

My hair was a natural wavy dark brown like always and was dry finally. In the front part of my hair on my right side I had some blue and pink highlights. I had a light layer of eyeliner on and a couple layers of mascara with some white sparkly eye shadow. I smiled big at my image, it's a shame I won't be doing these things anymore with my friends.

I looked over at Elena. Her blonde hair was in curls that went past her shoulders and her green eyes stood out the most. She did the same with make up like me. She wore a light blue dress that went to her mid thighs and it had spaghetti straps and she wore blue wedges that brought her up only an inch.

"We. Look. Amazing!" Elena smiled.

"I know!" I shouted back happily.

We pulled into the drive way of my friends house and we could hear the base coming from inside the house. Me and Elena got out of her car and shut the doors. I looked at the house.

Then it hit me hard. I'm leaving tomorrow, on the same plane my mom flew on years ago. Im leaving my friends, people I've grown to love, people I've grown to hate which isn't many or any for that matter. Then I realized I haven't seen my father in years and I'm leaving without seeing him.

"Are you coming?" Elena asked. she was standing on the side walk in front of the car, with a concerned face.

"Yeah, yeah." I said before swallowing the lump in my throat. We walked inside and the music blared. We walked towards the kitchen and have occasional smiles to people who waved at me and Elena.

"Jess! Elena!" Skai said running up to us.

"This party is great." Elena congratulated.

"I know." She looked at something over my shoulder. "There's new people in town, looks like there checking you out."

I looked over my shoulder and saw two teenage boys. One guy was in a leather jacket, jeans and simple shoes. The other was wearing a white t-shirt, jeans and tennis shoes.

"They look... okay but I won't be able to know them." I said.

"Come on Jess, stay for a couple days?" Skai begged.

"Sorry, I can't." I said.

"Alright well come on, let's get the cake." Elena said, almost dragging me and Skai towards the kitchen. Once we were out of the heated living room and in the some what peaceful kitchen, with music of course, I tore my hand out of Elena's grip hurting my wrist.

"Really cake? are we five now?" I asked with an unstoppable grin.

"If that what it takes to make you stay then yes." Skai laughed.

"Okay. But I'm still going." I said and looked at the clock.

"So when's your flight leave?" Elena asked.

"12:00 tomorrow." I answered, "so I should probably leave now so I can get my backpack together."

"Fine but please be safe and don't have too much fun there." Skai ordered and I walked out of the place.

I looked back at the house, and stopped the sound of my clicking heels together. A tear slipped down my cheek.

"Good bye Skai, good bye, Elena." I said with a small whisper and started walking off in the night.
