Hello everyone, my name is Nma and I am an aspiring Nigerian writer. I have never put out any of my works in public on a scale like this before. Yeah, I have won some writing competitions but this is the first time that my work would be exposed in such a setting and I'm very very very nervous.
I would be writing about contemporary issues in my country and would be showing you my beautiful readers what Nigeria is all about as we go on.
I have tried writing novels and short stories but I'm super hyperactive and I can't seem to get to finish any so I decided to gather all my flash fiction which I considered good and put them out there to see how they would be received.I am very welcome to criticisms, just not cutting remarks and I'm aware of the fact that I'm not perfect in English because it is not my first language so I would love your comments and feedbacks. Also I would like it if you suggest what part you would like me to write on. Nigeria is such a broad topic and I'm sure we will never tire of it.
However, most of my stories will have recurring theme of abuse, depression, mental illness and suicidal thoughts. That's because I'm dealing with issues and writing about them helps me process my feeling on them.
I hope we have a splendid time together and please vote if you like a stories. Love you.P.S that's not me in media. I don't know her, I just really like the pic.😘😘😘
