"It’s complicated...I actually have two mothers one died and one left and my farther doesn’t live in that village and my sister well... she went to study for something far away, so I was left alone but I managed."
"Oh, that must have been terrible!" she said
"Well it was actually nice, but I do miss them a lot". I paused then carried on
"I have two mothers one died she was called Rose and was my mother while one that left, and she is Yang's mother, Raven, my dad is called Tai and my sister is called Yang were not really sisters by blood so yeah."
"What do you mean?” she asked
"Well it’s like I am the adopted one because yang came first. After she left I felt like I lost huge part of me like a void in my heart, I couldn’t do anything properly at all, but I got used to it even, so it felt like was being torn apart.”
“How old are you?” she asked suddenly
“Why?” I asked confused
“Just tell me!” she said irritated
“Fine sheesh…I am ten years old.”
“Your ten--” she was interrupted with a rustle from the bushes and then suddenly it appeared…a Grimm it’s red eyes bloodthirsty its paws were big enough to break a tree in half, it suddenly pounced my direction, but the girl blocked it with her…pen?
I freaked out what! Was going on here! Who is she? How did she do that?! I am going to get answers after this! The girl’s pen changed into a bow and arrow, I almost flipped because I was angry…and kind of excited she looked amazing fighting the Grimm and…her wounds! They healed how?
The Grimm turned to black dust and disappeared and not a single drop of sweat was on her body, “what the flip was that!” she almost fell at my sudden burst
“Ahahaha…” she gave me an ‘uh-oh’ kind of laugh “well… how do I say this ummm I am a huntress sorry I kept it from you!”
I stood there like I was staring into space “HAHAHAHAHAHA!!” I gave a big laugh.
“Ummm did I say something funny?” she looked offended by my laugh.
“Ha-ha no...no it not that” I wiped a tear as I spoke “it’s just that it reminded me of my sister I mean she is a huntress too well she wants to become a huntress at beacon she told me in her letter after she left she just said the same thing you said, and she thought I was gonna be angry.”
“Well I really am sorry for not telling you oh and my name is Lionel”
“Well…Lionel I also have a secret I…am a girl”
“Huh.” Then there was a sudden silence, so I thought she didn’t understand
“I-am-a-girl” I said slowly trying to make her understand
“WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!” she shouted
“Yeah… well I… the parts around here work a bit differently, so I needed to find a job.”
“Ok…you are a girl and you need a job” She said still shocked
“I was heading to meet my uncle at Vale since he works as a huntsman”
“Well what are we waiting for!” she said with excitement “Let’s go!!”
"WAIT!" I shouted, and she jumped
"What!" she looked annoyed
"I have a question"
"What is it?" she said
"Where did you hide your bow and arrow-pen?" that was probably a stupid question.
"Really... that's the question you've had on your mind?!" she exclaimed. Yep I was correct.
We travelled through the forest and of course it held some surprises but after a few nights on the floor and days fighting grim we got to vale. It was an astonishing place the moment I looked at it I knew I would like it here, all the liveliness and the joy got me excited, but Lionel just wanted to know if she could get cotton candy.
“Do you know where your uncle would be?”
“My sister told me he was a drunk so maybe at bars”
“Ok ummm…” she looked around her calculatingly “there it is!”
“A bar?!” I said excitedly
“No, the cotton candy stall silly” she said jokingly "of course it would be the bar” she gave a small laugh
I let out a sigh of relief “I thought you were serious”
“I was serious though it’s just that the bar is right next to it”
“Wow…you have got to be kidding me” I rolled my eyes then gave a chuckle
