"You're going to have to learn how to be forceful and punish our pet if you want him to listen to you." Lucifer says to me as he continues to watch Crowley lick the floor clean, after watching Lucifer walk mud right through the path Crowley had just cleaned I turned away as I couldn't stomach anymore.

"I'm not very forceful." I say quietly, Lucifer grabs my hand.

"I can teach you. You need to be able to punish him too, otherwise he'll think he's higher up than you are."

"I know my place." Crowley pipes up and Lucifer's deadly rage settles in on Crowley.

"Clearly not, you only speak when spoken to. We are speaking about you, not to you." Lucifer glares at Crowley who goes back to cleaning the floor.

"I hope you aren't like this with actual animals." I say to Lucifer who turns me around.

"Never, why?"

"I wouldn't be comfortable shifting around you if you were." I mumble thinking that I might piss him off, he lifts my chin with his finger so I am looking into his eyes.

"You should always be comfortable around me. I am not here to hurt you." I almost cave and give in to his beautiful green eyes but I remind myself that he is the devil, it's his job to lie.

"I've fallen for the wrong angel before today."

"Luckily for you I'm not an angel, I'm an archangel. Fresh start." I almost laugh at the idea of a fresh start, bullshit. If I had a fresh start I wouldn't be here, I'd be back with those damn Winchesters. They may be hunters but I miss those buggers. "So, I know you have been here and in heaven but I'm struggling to fill the gaps in of the other periods of time, care to enlighten me?"

"I was with some hunters originally then here momentarily. I ended up back with the hunters and then in the men of letters bunker. Heaven then here."

"How did you manage to get away from the angels? Surely if they brought you to heaven they would have high security around you."

"I was brought to heaven by Gabriel, he thought that it would be the best place for me. Clearly he didn't put a memo out to the other angels because I did what I do best and they showed me the way out."

"So Gabriel thinks you're a threat. My own brother can't see you're more than a weapon, I am disappointed in him."

"Actually he just thought in order to keep me safest it was best if was with him in heaven."

"So he actually just wanted you to himself. He never was good at sharing, but neither was I." I feel Lucifer's chest rumble as he laughs but the rumbling doesn't stop when Lucifer stops laughing. Rather it stops when Gabriel appears in front of me and glares behind me at Lucifer.

"Hello Lucifer." Gabriel says through gritted teeth.

"Is that anyway to greet your big brother Gabe?" I hold my breath as Gabriel glares at Lucifer knowing how much stronger Lucifer is.

"You'd have a warmer welcome if you weren't holding the last trickster goddess hostage."

"She isn't a hostage, she just likes it here. Isn't that right honey?" Lucifer winks down at me, I shift into a cat and run towards the nearest window sill not wanting to be put in the middle of a fight between two archangels.

"Well that makes it clear. Clearly she does not want to be here."
"What makes you think that?"
"She just ran away from you when you asked her if she liked it here. I don't think it could be any clearer."
"Or maybe she ran off because she didn't want to offend you with her answer." Gabriel is momentarily rendered speechless by his brother's quick wit but manages to compose himself.
