Blurring shades of green and grey, the shaking rustling of the leaves in the wind and as she pushed them aside and out of her way. Heavy breathing, gasping for air. Desperately, trying to repay her oxygen debt.
She could hear the foul creatures gaining on her, slowly closing the distance. But getting eaten by a pack of starved Kolods wasn't her only problem, although being blown up would be a better way to go, it still didn't seem very appealing to her. But at least that way she wouldn't know when the Kolods were munching on the chunks of flesh and bone that once made up her damaged body, assuming they didn't join her.
A deep growl split the rattling of the trees and the thumping of her feet, starting as a low whine before exceeding into a shrill tone. They were close.
As expected, the carrier, a small ship used to transport mostly students to the main land with a weapons store beneath deck, exploded with a big boisterous bang that left her ears ringing. The sharp jagged scraps of singed metal rained down around them, losing their fire as they plummeted back to earth. Barely missing the lethal asteroids, she pushed on faster, throwing her arms over her head in the hopes to provide little protection.
Her sprinting became more like galloping and she ascended onto more uneven round with taller weeds and excessive plants. Only a little further and she could jump onto her raft and begin a new journey out at sea on a three by six metre raft with a small make shift tent on the side stashed with what little food and water she could gather and her trusty weapons.
She pushed on, running faster, sharp blades of grass and jagged twigs varying in sizes snagging and nipping at her bare feet. Jumping up and occasionally swinging from an appropriate branch to avoid rougher ground and drops in the terrain. Knowing it would put some very much needed distance between her and her crazed pack of pursuers.
As she reached the end of her miniature cliff, she jumped, having already practiced beforehand to make sure she didn't sink her raft, or tip it over. Also knowing that the demons wouldn't follow her as these particular demons couldn't swim.
As planned, she landed on her raft and grabbed her paddles without wasting anytime, she paddled as quickly as she could until she was sure that she was a safe distance out. Confident that the ocean's current would allow her to drift along, she placed he paddles on the side of the raft and tied them down with some vines so that they wouldn't fall off if things got rough. Then she grabbed more vines and tied herself to the raft in the tent made from material she had found on the wrecked carrier. After she settled in, she let her head rest against the hard wood of her raft and promptly fell into a light slumber.
(I added some, enjoy)

Seraphina was restlessly twisting and turning in her sleep, her mind bringing forth the island to make up for the lack of believe she had escaped. But she wasn't aware of the cargo ship in the distance, a ship that could take her home. Further worsened by the hunger and thirst wracking her body as she had run out of supplies several days ago.
As her raft drifted along the soft swishing waves towards the cargo ship, a loud horn pounded through the air and broke through to her restless mind. Waking her up in a fit of panic, only to realise there was no need. Desperately looking around for the source of the noise, hoping she hadn't dreamt it up, her eyes came across the ship. She could hear men yelling in the distance and despite her dry throat she began yelling back, hoping they were yelling at her. Several men stood at the side of the boat waving their arms in the air, signalling her.
She had been found, saved!
