JEROME'S POV

when Riko pulled up to the apartment complex I got nervous as hell. my palms started sweating like crazy. I asked him if she moved on he said no so I was little happy about that. after I told him bye I walked up to the door number he wrote down for me. I'm not gonna flex these some good looking apartments but I wanna know why she here. I knocked on the door and waited a few minutes before I heard the chain being removed. that's when I heard that voice that put a smile on my face.

"who the fuck at my door at 4 in the morning?" I heard her mumble through the door turning on the light before swinging it open. she looked at me and froze. there was an awkward silence before I broke it.

"hey.....how you been" I said holding my head down looking at the floor mat she was standing on.

Kali's POV

when I opened the door and seen Jerome there I didn't know how to react. I always thought I would have beat the shit out of him and tell him how much he hurt me and JJ; but right now I can't. I just feel numb. but the sound of his voice and the way he's holding his head down tells me one or two things.

1. he's feeling guilty

or

2. it's a whole different story for him to tell me

I open the door for him to come in and he seems hesitant at first but comes in. he looks so weak like he hasn't eaten, in weeks.

"you can sit on the couch in living room come on." I say leading the way to the living room. I turned on the light and he looked at  me and his eyes grew big almost wanted to pop out.

"what?" I say getting shy from his intensive staring. I looked down and noticed what he was looking at. my stomach.

"yo- your pregnant" he said looking hurt.

"oh..yea almost 8 months" I said rubbing my stomach. he flopped back in the chair still starting at my stomach in disbelief. I started to feel uncomfortable so I sat down on the other couch.

"uhmmm......can I ask who's the father?" he said above a whisper. I nodded

"who is it?" he said looking at me in the eyes for the first time.

"you" I said faintly still looking at him in his eyes. it looked like his eyes brightened up a little. and he chuckled.

"how?"

"what? the last time I seen you Jerome do you remember what we did?"

"oh......I'm sorry......i feel bad"

"where were you?" I asked he looked up at me again

"Riko didn't tell you?" he looked surprised

"No. you tell me"

"ok......when I tell you let me finish  everything before you speak. " I nodded

"wait is it going to be long?" I asked he laughed and shook him head. and nodded

"ok hold on" I tried to get up but couldn't this was what I hated about being pregnant I get fat and can't move. Jerome got up and helped me up to my feet. he looked down at me and my stomach.

"you can touch" I said and he looked at me

and placed his hands on my stomach. causing a hard kick to his hand.he jumped back I laughed.
