Shut Up and Dance

Okay quick a/n

This story is based off of the song Shut Up and Dance by WALK THE MOON. All you really need to know is that it is a reveal fanfic, and Adrien and Marinette are 17-ish, so they've been at this for a few years.

And a quick disclaimer- If you recognize it, it's not mine - Not the song, not Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. If I did we wouldn't be here looking up reveal fanfiction.

This is my first fanfic, so enjoy and sorry if it's cringy!

Ladybug POV

The most recent akuma fight had been tiring, but I wanted to talk with Chat. He had seemed oddly quiet today.

Normally he would be flirting, spouting off puns, and calling me nicknames, but today, all he did was so his job. I was worried. After all, three years of fighting akumas together, and getting to know him, I had grown accustomed to those things. Maybe even find of them. Though I was still hopelessly in love with Adrien, I had grown quite close to Chat.

Following closely behind him, I realized he wasn't going to stop. He was headed home. 'Would it really be a bad thing if I knew where he lived' I thought, 'I mean, it's not like I know him in real life.'

So I followed him.

Until I realized he was stopping at the Agreste mansion.

'But there's no way he's Adrien. Maybe he just is friends with Adrien, or maybe he works there.' I convinced myself. 'He's just stopping by.' That's when I saw him detransform. My breath hitched.

He was Adrien.

Chat was Adrien.

Adrien was Kitty.

My vision blurred, and I raced home before he could see me.

My miraculous ran out a few seconds after I walked in the door, and I sat on my bed, Tikki close behind. I looked her in the eye. "Did you know?" She stared down sheepishly. "Yes." I barely heard her response. "Could you have told me?"

"No."

"I figured as much."

"Would you like to be left alone?"

"I would like that very much, thanks Tikki." Tikki went and hid in her bed, leaving me to think.

I really couldn't think straight. I was still processing when Alya texted me.

Hey girl! Do u want to hang 2day?

I don't know if I'm up for it...

U good mari?

Yeah I'm fine, just kinda tired.

Ok.... but akuma 2day tho...

Oh I heard about that... what was it's name again?

It was 'Poppy' she had like these cool jack-in-the box powers

Hawkmoth's names just keep getting worse, don't they?

Yeah... This one was pretty bad
