Telling the Truth can be hard

My father was the first one to wake up. He woke up everyone saying, "lets go lets go, we got to go!" I feel scared and worried, will i go to jail? could i get a fine? what will Taylor's parents think of me? My father told us we will have to skip breakfast, and get some on the way back. My mother was concerned of why we had to be there early. "Why do we have to leave at 10am?" My mother said. "Because i don't want to have to pay a larger amount of money, cause we chose to wait a while." I was had a strange feeling like, how does my dad know so much about this? was he in this kind of scenario before? So many things were on my mind that i couldn't focus on just one problem.

When we got there my mother and father told them as much as i told them. One of the officers took me into the room. The room was dark and gray. There was a table in the middle of the room and two chairs virical from each other. The man told me to sit in the chair closer to the cuffs on the table. I was thinking, why do i need cuffs? Im not a crazy person! So i did what i was told to do. He put the cuffs on my wrist, first left then right. After he was done locking me up he left, and another man came in. He sat down and started talking, " Hello my name is Steve, im going to be asking you some questions, and i need you to respond with the full truth. I said ok. He started asking questions, they were basic questions, but then he asked a question that made me hesitate. "How did the young girl die?" he said very seriously. "Um, she fell off a mountain." I said. " Did something push her off, or did she fall because she was clumsy?" I couldn't tell him that i pushed her, so i just said what my mind wanted to say. "she fell because she was clumsy." I could feel my heart beating faster, I just lied to a police officer, or i think it is a police officer. "What did you do after this incident?" "Well i ran back to the house and packed everything up and left." I knew i shouldn't of said that. "Why didn't you not call 911 or get help?" Well i had an answer to that, we had no wifi and the only person i could keep in touch with was the old creepy man. "I was scared, i didn't know what to do." "ok, i can see where your coming from." After a few  more questions  he let me go, but i had to come back after school started.
