The Game

Chapter 4

- The Game -

When I made it to the game I couldn't find Kaylee anywhere. I just decided to find us a seat close to the field because it was already getting packed with people. This is the game of the year, but I didn't expect it to be this crowded.

Right when I sat down I got hungry. I stood up and walked to get snacks. When I say the concession stands were packed, believe me. I was in line just about to walk up and get my snacks. I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and see no one other than Trenstin.

"So you like popping up on people now?" I said smiling

"Nah, let's go take them pictures though bae, Trenstin said.

I'm not your bae, I said real fast. Even though in my mind I wanted him to keep calling me.

"You will be mine soon. Just wait on it , he said cheesing like a big kid.

I seen all of his friends just staring at us and then one of them said something about his girl fine. I just laughed and joined him and his group of friends. Kaylee hasn't texted or called me so I guess she's not coming. Oh well.

Trenstin and I took so many pictures and him and his friends are chill and funny. We got to know a lot of things about each other. So when we made it back to the seats in the stadium the game had already started. The whole time at the game  the whole crew was dancing and screaming for our school to win.

At the end of the game our school had won the entire game. 72-20 were the scores. I still hadn't heard anything from Kaylee, but I guess she ditched me. Trenstins friends left and it was just us two walking out the stadium.

"That was a tough game, Trenstin said. I just wished I was out there on the field.

"Yeah it was, I said. Why weren't you out on the field since your on of the players?

I seen that he had paused and just stared out in the night sky.

Well, I got into some trouble one day in practice this week and coach took me off the team. I'm determined to get back on the team, he looked down then sighed.

"You were a good player and I know coach is gonna put you back on. Don't worry Tre, I said trying to sound calm as ever.

He smiled then out of nowhere he hugged me. That hug felt so good and I just wished that it could last forever like this. Me in his strong arms.

He let go and we both just smiled and said our goodbyes. Tonight as been the best ever and hopefully Trenstins thought the same.
