From Country to City

Chapter 1

~Ashley's POV~

Today is the day! I am so excited!! I, Ashley Zehr, am going to LA with my 4 best friends!! Now this won't be any old trip, no, we are going to party so hard, because it's going to be Carissa's 17th birthday and Kadance and Ally's 12th birthday. And we will have a blast. Oh, I forgot to tell you who my best friends are. Well, Carissa is the oldest, then there is Kadence, then Ann, and lastly Ally. We have been friends since the third grade.

~Carissa's POV~

This is tots awesome!!! I'm so excited for today, I can't believe that I am serious going to LA for my birthday!! Plus I get to spend it with my dearest friends.

*looks at the clock*

Oh my, it is almost time to head to Ashley's house and I'm not even ready.

*finishes packing her suitcase and then gets ready for the day*

Done! With 10 minutes to spare. I guess it's time to leave then.

*leaves and heads to Ashley's house*

~Kadence POV~

Whoop! Whoop! California here I come! I have been so excited for this moment. I had everything I needed packed a week ago. I guess you could say I'm on the ball with things, but the only reason I am ready, is because I am so excited. I hear the clock chime 10am. "Mom, it time to go! I need to be at Ashley's house at 10:10 and we need to pick up Ally on the way!"

"Okay sweetheart. I'll be right down. Pack your things in the car."

I grabbed my suitcase and anything else I thought I might need and headed out to the car. When everything was packed in the trunk, I climbed in the car and texted Ally

K: HEY GIRL! You ready?

Ally: Of course! Couldn't be more ready in all of my life.

K: We will be over to pick you up in about five minutes.

Ally: Ill be here waiting.

K: See you soon

~Ally's POV~

"Mom! Kadence is going to be here soon!"

"Okay sweetie. I'll be right down!"

I have everything packed and I am ready to go. I can't believe this is really happening to me.

"Do you have everything you need?"

"Yes mom. That's the 20th time you asked. Nothing has changed."

"I know, I just don't want you to forget something that you need."

"I'm fine Mom"

Ugh. Mom can be so annoying sometime. I am old enough to take care of myself and know what I need. I can't wait to get out of the house for awhile.

*Beep, Beep*

"Kadence is here. Bye Mom. Love you."

"Bye Ally. Hope you have a wonderful time."

"I will."

"Oh and don't forget to call. I want to know that you made it there safely."

"Yes Mom. I will."

I packed all my things in the back of Kadence's mom's car and we were off.

~Ann's POV~

*beeeeep beeeeep beeeeep*

I slap the snooze button on my alarm clock. It's way too early to get up. I begin to fall back asleep when I realize what day it is today. I leaped out of bed, because I am now running late already. Lucky I was able to pack most of my things last night, that's one reason I was up so late. I quickly finished packing and jumped in the shower.

*knock knock*

"WHAT?!?"

"ASHLEY IS CALLING YOU!"

"OKAY THANKS MOM!"

We have an interesting relationship, me and my mom. We always yell, not in a mean or angry way, that's just how we talk to each other. Some people think we are some crazy deaf family, but we aren't. We can all hear perfectly fine, it just something we have always done. I quickly finished my shower so I could see what Ashley wanted. But when I went to check my phone it said....

Why do I have 2 new voicemails. Ashley never ever calls more than once?
