(A/N: I don't own this shit.)
"You ready to fight?" Deras asked.
(A/N: This is the armor Deras wears.)
"Let's go." Eddard, also known as Ned, Deras' brother, replied. "This will be grand." Robert Baratheon laughed. With that, the three and their army charged. Upon seeing this, Rhaegar and his army charged as well. This was a well known day in history. The army's met in the middle and the four separated from each other. Deras was charged at by eight men. He dodged a sword that about decapitated him and stabbed the owner and cut a second man open. He cut the third's hand off. The soldier screamed in agony as a fourth lunged at Deras only to lose his head and the third was cleaved in half. The fifth slashed and was promptly cut in the stomach and fell over dead. Deras stabbed the sixth and killed him. He was so preoccupied with the corpse that he didn't notice a seventh man coming up. The man pulled a dagger and stabbed Deras in the right eye and he screamed in pain. Deras elbowed the man back and pulled out the dagger. He dropped it and reared around, knocking the man out with a punch. It hurt, but Deras knew he had to fight for this land, to free the people. Then came the last man. Deras looked up. It was a huge man. About 6'5.Big brute with a giant bloody sword, bearing tattoos and fur armor.
This would be Deras' biggest challenge. Deras swung his sword, but the brute blocked it. Another swing, another block. This went on for minutes. Then the brute had enough and grabbed Deras by the throat. He threw him across the field by the river, sword on the shore. He got on his hands and knees and was about to get up. Then He felt a giant boot kick his ribs and he rolled over to the shore and spit out blood. Finally the brute got on him and started to choke the life out of him. Too bad the brute didn't realize he would lose till he felt a sharp pain in his hip. He got up only to see a dagger in him. By the time he realized what was happening, it was to late. A sword chopped his left leg clean off. The brute looked forward to see Deras standing with blood running down his chin, sword ready to swing. Then the sword decapitated the brute. With that, the headless corpse fell. The battlefield was silent. Not because the brute was dead. But because the battle was won. Deras fell to his knees and looked in the air. He can't believe it. They won and he killed a brute. A giant. Suddenly he bellowed a victory cry to the sky. This caught everyone's attention including his three friends. Everyone was silent. Then Robert and Ned cheered. This was followed by their army. Then the remaining soldiers of the losing army fled. Then Robert yelled. "Deras the Giantslayer!" Everyone cheered at these nicknames as Ned went to his brother and lifted him from the floor. Deras hugged his brother. As soon as Ned pulled back, he raised his and Deras' arms in victory. This will forever be known as the end to Robert's Rebellion, but Deras doesn't know that the love of his life won't be waiting as she will be stolen by his close friend into a forced marriage.
