Peridot's POV

I woke up all rapped up in my blankets and bedsheets I sat up a little to realize I was completely naked I quickly grabbed a blanket to cover myself when I heard my bathroom door open. Lapis came through the door only in my smallest bathrobe that I had since I was 18. She walked over to my bed and sat next to me. "Hey" I said as she led on the bed. "Hi Peridot. Um how did you sleep? " she asked I smiled and said "I slept well. You? " she nodded her head and moved to kiss me on the cheek she then stood up and said "I'm going to get changed see ya after. " I was so shocked that all I could do was wave and watch her leave my bedroom. I couldn't believe she was so calm I mean I know we... but that doesn't mean that we... I mean I wouldn't mind if we... what am I thinking we were drunk so I didn't mean anything did it? I soon got up and got dressed into a white vest top and a pair of pj bottoms. I went out of my room to see Lapis in a shirt that said "shut it!" On the front and a pair of jeggings. She was sat on the sofa looking through the television channels I sat down next to her and she immediately led down inbetween my legs that were rested on the sofa coshin the back of her head was rested in my chest. "Hey Peri. " I hummed as a response "did you enjoy last night? " my face blushed reder the Shappire's tattoo of her wife's name that resided on her left arm. "I did. It was nice to have someone treat me as well as you did. Jasper would always take control and push me past my limits. " I said as I let my arms fall to her stomach from around her neck she then grabbed my hands and squeezed them tightly. "I'm sorry Peri. " I kissed her head and said "it wasn't your fault I was stupid enough not to listen to my mother. " she turned around and moved her arms to rap them around my waist and bury her head into my chest. "Hey Peri" she said to me in a muffled voice. "Yeah Lapi" I said as she looked up at me I looked down at her when she said "what are we? " I didn't know I wanted to be close to her and last night made me trust her more. "What do you want us to be? " she sat up and moved towards me her eyes closed and her lips locked with mine we quickly began to make out her tounge made its way into my mouth. She then pulled away and said "I want to be with you Peri. I want you to be loved I want you to be able to forget about everything Jasper did to hurt you. Peri" I was so happy that she wanted to be with me scared but happy. "Me too Lapis I want to be with the woman who makes me feel worth it. " I smiled and she came up to hug me we kissed again this time my tounge was the one trying to get into her mouth but instead of her lips parting way I felt a creamy like substance on her lips. It was lipstick. "Lapis are you wearing lipstick? " I questioned after pulling away from the kiss. "Yep cherry flavored I hoped that I would get to kiss you today. " I laughed but turned away. "I love you Peri" she said as I carried on looking away pretending to ignore her she kept on saying it over and over until she desided to kiss me up my neck. "Okay I love you too just stop kissing my neck your getting lipstick all over me." I said as I tryed to move her away from my neck. But instead she slipped and her lipstick got all over my shirt. "Lapis! " I shouted a little to loud that I didn't hear Amethyst and Pearl come through the door. "Hey guys " Amethyst said I quickly pushed Lapis off of me and smiled awkwardly and stood up with Lapis on the ground also smiling awardly. "What have you two been up to? " birdmum said as the couple walked in. "Um well... " I looked down at Lapis not knowing what to say. "Oh My Stars! Is that Lipstick on your shirt so something did happen! " her and Pearl began to laugh "well I guess you could say that but that stain there was from a few minutes ago when we decided. " I smiled and helped her up as she said "me and Peri are  dating! " she was so happy. I looked to see Ame and and Pearl's face drop. "Oh my stars I'm so happy for you. " they both said as they hugged us.

~~~8hrs~later~~~

Peridot and I were setting up for the biggest rave we would have since my before mother died. We moved the tables off the dance floor and set up the lights. I held the ladder for Lapis as she put the lights up. She got down off the ladder to sit on the step opposite my chest and rapped her legs around it. "My legs are tired! " she said as she buried her head into my neck. "Do you want me to carry you back to the bar Lapis? " she pouted and nodded her head. I grabbed her waist and she rapped her arms around my neck and I spun around the dance floor with her in my arms. We were watched by Pearl, Amethyst, Ruby and Shappire's as we laughed together. "Peri but me down! " Lapis shouted through giggles. "You said you wanted me to carry you. " I stopped spinning and walked Lapis over to the bar and sat her down on the bar counter. Before I could leave to unlock the liquor case Lapis grabbed me by the waist and kissed me on the cheek and whispered. "I love you Peridot Greene. " I kissed her and when I pulled back I whispered "I love you Lapis Lazuil. "
