Jasmine clocked out and waved to her co-worker before tugging on her jacket, making sure to zip it up and put her gloves on before stepping outside. Stepping outside she smiles, seeing Peter across the street, waiting for her.

Checking both ways before crossing the street Jasmine grins at him, "Hey Peter." She says

Peter smiles, "Hey Jas." He says softly, smiling, his hands stuffed in the front pockets of his jeans as he leaned against a streetlamp pole.

"How long have you been waiting?" Jasmine asks him, raising an eyebrow as they begun walking.

"About a half hour. I wanted to make sure you didn't get off early or anything." Peter shrugged like it was nothing.

"You could have waited inside." Jasmine frowns, "It's only 20 degrees out!" She frowns, walking next to him, looking at him.

"I'm fine. I made sure to bundle up." Peter chuckles, smiling. "It's not that cold out, you're just oversensitive." He teases

Jasmine rolls her eyes, bumping him with her hip, "Still, next time just come in to wait for me." She smiles.

"Alright." Peter chuckles, "I got an internship yesterday." He informs

"Really? For where? Doing what?"

"I'll be Mr. Stark's assistant." Peter grins, "At Stark Industries." He says, "It'll take a lot out of my evenings, but I'll always be here to walk you home." He says, bumping me with his own hip.

"Your internship is more important Peter, if you can't make it to pick me up I'll survive." Jasmine chuckles, smiling.

"Your safety is more important." Peter shrugs, "You mean a lot to me Jas." He adds.

Jasmine blushes, not knowing what to say, "Peter...."

"You're like a sister to me, and I don't know what I would do if something happened to you." Peter says, biting his lip nervously.

"Oh...yeah...you're like a brother to me too." Jasmine says softly, disappointed.

Peter blushed, walking with her, "I gotta get back to Mr. Stark." he says softly when they reached their building, "I'll pop by tonight, maybe we can watch a movie or something?" He suggests, it was a Friday.

Jasmine smiles, "I'd like that." She says softly, "We haven't had a movie night in forever." She notes

Peter smiles, jogging off.

Jasmine starts climbing the stairs to her apartment floor, unlocking the door to her apartment she smiles at her aunt, "Hey Aunt Kylie, I'm home." She says softly, kissing her aunt's cheek as she took off her jacket and hung it on a hook by the door.

"Hey sweetie." Kylie smiles, "How was school and work?" She asks.

"School was boring, and work was slow." Jasmine shrugs, "What are you attempting at baking now?" She asks

"I'm making a birthday cake, Peter's birthday is tomorrow and May invited us over. I told her we would bring a cake." Kylie grins

"Shit. His birthday is tomorrow?!" Jasmine groans.

"Language missy." Kylie scolds.

"Sorry. I gotta go out. I'll pick up a cake savior to be safe, you're not the best baker. I love you!" Jasmine runs out the door after grabbing her coat again, before her aunt could through some baking ingredient at her.

Jasmine hummed, walking down the street to get her best friend a present. (https://d2bnh4l4ivgux0.cloudfront.net/fit-in/0x700/outfits/0112f5ea-06ff-4717-9ee0-7f00233b941a.png)

Walking back to her apartment she steps in, she sets the plastic bag of presents on the couch before putting the extra cake in the fridge. "I'm back Aunt-"Sh cuts off mid sentence, seeing a note on the fridge,

Hey Mini,

Went out with Uncle Brandon, be back late, business dinner.

Love you, Aunt Kylie

P.S. I left twenty bucks on the counter for you to order out.

Jasmine shrugs, pocketing the twenty before grabbing the bag of presents and going to her room to wrap them, she carefully arranges everything to fit in one bag, leaving it by her door so she wouldn't forget it before signing the card and popping it in the bag.

"Jas?" Peter calls as he just walks into her apartment after knocking.

"Be out in a sec." Jasmine calls from her room, putting her hair in a messy bun before walking out, "Aunt Kylie and Uncle Brandon went out on a business dinner." She smiles, "What movie do you wanna watch?" She asks, kneeling by her large collection of movies.

"Let's watch Back to the Future! All three." Peter grins.

Jasmine nods, fishing the complete trilogy out of her collection, "Alright. Order a pizza, Aunt Kylie left $20 for take-out, and I have my debit card if it comes to anymore than 20 bucks." She says.

"Should we wake them?" Brandon whispers to his wife as they looked at the two .

Peter had his arm around Jasmine's shoulders, holding her close while her legs were over his lap. Her back was against the arm of the couch while her head rested on his shoulder, slightly buried. His head rested against hers while he slept peacefully.

"No!" Kylie whispers back, taking a few pictures of them, smiling at how cute they were. "I'll get these printed tomorrow and give copies to May." She says, "Just let them sleep there. I'm sure if Peter wakes up he'll carry her to bed, or readjust or something." She says, tugging her husband into their room after wrapping a blanket around her niece and Peter.

Jasmine had woken up to her aunt and uncle, but didn't move, too comfortable. She lets out a soft breath, nuzzling her face gently into his shoulder more, letting her eyes flutter closed again, feeling safe in his warm embrace.

Jasmine wakes with a start, her eyes wide as she gasps softly for air. She tried sitting up, having difficulty.

"Hey, hey, Jasmine?" Peter asks worriedly, yawning softly, having woken up to her sitting up from his embrace. "Talk to me Jas." He says softly, reaching a hand to move a strand of hair from her face, "I'm here." He adds gently.

Jasmine took a deep shaky breath as she relaxed against his warm embrace, "Nightmare." She whispers softly, hiding her face in his chest.

"What about?" Peter gently rubs circles on her lower back, his other hand holding hers for comfort.

"The fire my parents died in." Jasmine says, her voice slightly shaking, "The fire wasn't an accident..." She says, "A-A man was there, he started it." She says, burying her face in his chest, clinging to him.

"It was only a nightmare." Peter soothes gently, holding her close, gently lifting her face up with a finger under her chin, "I'm here, there was no man that started the fire, police checked all security footage." He soothes, looking at her.

Jasmine looked up at him, tears in her eyes as she slowly began calming down.

Peter smiles down at her gently, they were so close...he could feel the warmth of her breath tickling his skin as he stared into her beautiful ocean blue eyes.

Jasmine stares up at him, her blue eyes twinkling as she slowly leaned forward, their lips inches from one anothers.

Hey guys! Hope you enjoyed this chapter! Do you think they'll kiss? Think they'll get interrupted? Or do you think one of them will take off?

Cliffhangers are fun, maybe I'll do more?
