   Hi! I am Jade, a 14 year old girl. I have a crush on Max, a 14 year old boy. I also have two siblings, both boys, twin boys. One is Alex and the other is Carlos. They are both super annoying. I live with them and my parents, Matt and Cathy. I live in an apartment, which is cramped. I have to sleep on the couch! I have to put my clothes in the living room cabinet! Since my parents felt sorry for me they bought me a phone though!! It is amazing!!! You know my crush, Max well I have his phone number and I'm thinking about texting him. I want to tell him I like him before school starts. But I get nervous talking to him, even if I'm texting him. I also think he doesn't like me. What if I get rejected? Would we still be friends? I hope we would be. He's a really great friend. You know what? I'M TEXTING HIM!

Jade: Hey Max!

Max: Hey Jade! What's up?

Jade: I was just wondering if you were free tonight.

Max: Well I think I am let me go check on my calendar.

Jade: Okay.

Max: I'm free!!!!!

Jade: I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out at my place tonight. Can you?

Max: Sounds cool. What time should I be there?

Jade: 5:30. Could you make it?

Max: Of course! So what would you want to do?

Jade: Could we go to the festival in town? Is that okay?

Max: Perfect! I'll have my sister pick you up and take us there. See you then!

Jade: Okay!!!

I'm freaking out!!!!!!!!!!! I just dropped my phone and I am screaming like a maniac! I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO WEAR!!! Oh no! My first date with my crush! I'm a mess!!!! Should I wear a dress with heals or jeans with a belly top with sandals???? I will go with a belly shirt with jeans and sandals. I think that's good. Yeah. It is. I'm gonna put it on!

So I just put it on and I think I look hot!!! I'm so ready for this date!!! Even though it is only 4:00. WAIT IT'S 4 O'CLOCK!! OH NO!
