Shocked (a cameron dallas fanfic)

Introduction

My mom and dad got divorced yesterday because of some girl at my dads work. Her name was Jennifer and she was about 38, she called my dad last night after he got home from work and my mom had happened to pick up the phone at the same time. She ended up overhearing their conversation, Jennifer was trying to hook up with my dad but he would try to let her down easy without hurting her feelings. I guess he wasn't doing that good because my mom hung up and at that point he knew she had been listening and probably thought that there was something going on between them.

*Flash back*

I was trying to sleep that night when I started to hear arguing. I walked over to my door and opened it just a crack, I could hear the voices getting louder but, it wasn't all that clear. I decided to walk down the hallway and sit down just at the top of the stairs, and I listened to what was being said. I heard my moms voice getting closer, so I stood up and went back to my room and I shut the door quietly. I went and laid down, and just as I was drifting off to sleep I heard my door start to open. I opened my eyes just a bit to see who it was and it was my mom checking to see if she had woken me up.

It was Saturday morning and my clock said "7:26am" I was still really tired so I decided to go back to sleep. As I started waking up again I could hear my mom and dad fighting, I took a look at my clock and it was "10:17am" so I finally got up and went downstairs to see what was really going on.

I walked in the kitchen as my mom and dad were standing there fighting, I cleared my throat trying to capture their attention. They both stopped and looked at me, "Good Morning sweetie, how was your sleep" my mom asked, "It was fine" I replied. There was a moment of silence when I decided to to ask what they were fighting about. My dad said to sit at the table so he can explain what was happening.

They explained and added that my mom was moving out and I had to go with her while Sierra gets to live here with my dad. I thought to myself it wasn't fair because I had a way closer relationship with my dad and Sierra was closer with my mom.

This is just great, my mom and dad got in a divorce and now I have to move in with my mom for good. I never really was close with my mom I mean we always had this distant relationship, but I was really close with my dad which was unusual most the time.
