The metallic taste of iron fills my mouth as the scenery that lays waste before my eyes fades into a deep sleep.

Sirens. The dead man's doorbell fills my ears. The darkness consuming my vision. Indistinguishable chattering. I fall into slumber again.

The lids of my eyes finally break way as I peel them off. My vision blurred by the sudden attack of artificial light. My head feels as if hit by a ton of bricks. My back cushioned, my body sweltering hot.

My eyes finally dilate and I swing my head around, anxious to see were I'm being held.
